By itself, such a task as opening commission shop from scratch, is not particularly difficult. It is much more important to turn it into a profitable enterprise, and not a warehouse for storing unnecessary things.

Opinions about the profitability of the "commission" are directly opposite, which is not accidental. The peculiarity of secondary trade is that not so much economic as psychological factors. As a "hodgepodge" of various things of dissimilar purpose, quality and price - they are no longer in demand. They were driven out by markets, "discounters", sales on credit.

At the same time, flourish: Avito.ru, Molotok.ru., where a lot of people sell and buy used things. There is an opinion that the development of trade through second-hand goods via the Internet will completely close all the possibilities for conventional stores. But this is unlikely to happen soon, primarily because of the delivery. Let's try to find out:

The procedure for concluding such agreements is established by Chapter 51 of the Tax Code. Participants can be both legal entities and individuals. So, for example, a store may accept products from a wholesale supplier, enterprise, other trade organization.

Accepting things for a commission from citizens is a special case. It is regulated by a special document: “Rules for commission trade in non-food products” (approved by Decree No. 569, 06/06/1998). Its features:

  1. Things (used, new) for a commission can be accepted from any individuals: citizens of the Russian Federation, foreigners. In this case, you need to present your passport.
  2. The agent may be an organization or individual entrepreneur.
  3. The client who turned over the item remains the owner until it is sold. He can terminate the contract at any time and return it back.
  4. The amount of the commission is most often set as a percentage of the value of the thing, but other conditions are not prohibited: for example, the difference between the acceptance and sale prices, the amount in a fixed amount.
