Have you ever wondered where and how police officers are trained? I happened to visit one of the specialized educational institutions- Center for Professional Training of Traffic Police Officers of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow. This Center is by no means located in Moscow, but in Ivanteevka near Moscow. They teach here specifically, in the curriculum there are many subjects from the legal foundations to forensic science. Here they will teach special driving, shooting from a moving car, detaining criminals with bare hands and special equipment.
I suggest you see it with your own eyes.

2. It was not easy to find the Center, at the official address Yandex.Navigator took us to some barracks. It turned out that the real address is very different from the one indicated in the documents. Perhaps echoes of secrecy. It is impossible for a stranger to get here, we had a special invitation.

3. The territory of the Center is very large, there are several educational and administrative buildings on it. Let's start with the main one. At the entrance, as expected, the duty unit.

4. Students of the Training Center for traffic police officers study for 6 months. Subjects are read in courses, 100-120 hours are allotted for each subject.
In total, about 600-650 people are trained here, these are 19 platoons. The training day lasts from 9 to 18, during the training, students are paid wages.
To become a student of the Vocational Training Center, you must pass an entrance competition.

5. The CPP honors the memory of the dead employees of the internal affairs bodies.

6. A small exposition dedicated to the history of the traffic police - traffic police.

7. In the forensics room huge collection weapons, ammunition, documents, banknotes. What is not here.

8. Blogger's arsenal?

9. Students of the Center are trained on real subjects.

10. In addition to traffic police officers, employees of other departments are also trained at the Center. One of the offices is designed to resemble the Komsomolskaya metro station. Yes, police officers working on the subway are also trained here.
The focus here is on legal framework police work.
A few facts:
* There are at least two CCTV cameras in each subway car, while modern ones have six cameras.
* When working with citizens, a distinction is made between inspection, inspection and search. The search is carried out only within the framework of investigative actions.

11. Let's move to the parade ground.

12. Practicing traffic controller gestures. Do you remember all the gestures? Here they are worked out to automatism.

13. Even with development technical means there will still be situations when you have to manually control the movement.

14. What should the driver do when he sees a platoon of traffic controllers with batons raised up? Stop and get your camera?

15. We go to the next building, along the way we come across a lot of interesting things. DPS post. Now they are becoming less and less, the priority is for mobile crews.

16. Subway car. Ivanteevka station. In fact, this is a training ground where specialists are trained. Protect glass.

17. Driving school, we came here right during class. Here, special driving techniques are practiced. Each study place equipped for driving skills.

18. The methodology differs significantly from that which is taught in ordinary driving schools.

19. For example, we were all taught in a driving school that you can’t cross your arms while taxiing.

20. Here they teach how to cross your arms correctly. You can't do without crossing your arms during extreme driving.

21. After driving school, it's time to look at the results of training on the site. We looked at the "snake" and "police turn". Very impressive.

22. Next, we were shown a practice of detaining violators. This is cooler than they show in the movies, I could never imagine that in three seconds a stubborn intruder turns out to be lying on the pavement. I will tell you about the arrest separately.

The most daring tushinetc who decided to test everything on his neck.

23. An interesting technique of fire training. The Center believes that police officers should not just shoot at targets from a standing position, there may be tougher conditions in life.

24. A complex exercise is as follows: you need to run a few tens of meters, quickly push out ten times.

25. Then a short sparring and practicing hand-to-hand combat techniques.

26. The first criminal is defeated, the second is in the process.

27. After that, the listener jumps into a swinging model car and fires at a target.

28. Fire! The target is hit by three shots out of three.

29. Did you recognize the car?

30. Lunch break in the middle of the school day. The dining room is located in the main building.

31. The menu is not very large, but hearty and affordable.

32. A couple of schedules, it is clear that the preparation is comprehensive. After this, real professionals, savvy in terms of legislation, will leave the Center. Let violators on the roads become less.

Thanks to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the opportunity to visit the training center for traffic police officers.
Next time I'll tell and show

How the Moscow police training center works

On November 10, police officers celebrate their professional holiday - the Day of the employee of the internal affairs bodies.

Whatever position an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs holds, he is trained at a vocational training center ..

The Center for Professional Training of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow was established in 1970 on the basis of the School of Police. It was originally called simply " The educational center". Since its inception, 130,000 graduates have come out of these walls, including the deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow, Police Major General Oleg Baranov.

The Center often receives foreign delegations: China, Mongolia, Korea, Israel, Belarus sent their representatives here to exchange experience.

600 people receive full-time education here. In the system of internal affairs bodies, the training center is like a school for ordinary citizens. To be able to continue serving in the police, you must have a certificate of completion.

Upon admission, students are tested, pass physical training - push-ups, pull-ups on the crossbar. Already at the first stage there is a serious selection. However, even if the entrance exams are passed successfully, there is no guarantee that you will not be expelled. From the center can be expelled for poor progress and systematic violation of discipline.

All teachers of the center are experienced people, they have encountered many situations in practice and can explain to students the theory on concrete examples. The same applies to physical training instructors, they are all masters of sports in Greco-Roman wrestling, jujitsu, judo and sambo.

The training day begins with the formation of personnel, on which they bring operational information, mark the best in studies, sports, as well as those who have poor academic performance, conduct an examination appearance employees. Under the "Farewell of the Slav", the students march in orderly rows along the parade ground with a marching step and the school day begins. You can't be late. In general, discipline in the center is strictly monitored: you won’t see red over the knee boots, but heels fixed size allowed.

Formally, there is no division by gender, but in reality the guys are interested in different things. Inquiry and investigation is a women's sphere, OMON and PPS, an escort is a man's. Each platoon has its own schedule for studying disciplines according to the curriculum.

The policemen here are trained according to a basic set of items. So, PPS employees need to have an idea about forensic science: the technique of removing traces, fixing elements of the situation, protecting the scene. At the same time, they do not need to know the methods of solving crimes, because they are not investigators or interrogators.

Great emphasis is placed on physical training. Boys and girls train together, the algorithm for performing basic techniques (there are about 60 of them) is prescribed in a separate order. For deeper learning, rubber dummies of knives and pistols are used. Having mastered the base, you can proceed to modeling typical situations: three on one, entering a building, escorting a suspect, neutralizing an enemy. At the same time, no one canceled general physical training: shuttle running, abdominal exercises, push-ups, pull-ups on the bar, somersaults. Just in case, there is always a doctor on duty.

On the basis of special equipment, students are taught to understand the objects with which they work and which often save their lives. What bulletproof vests are made of, how the second class of protection differs from the fifth, what injuries can be obtained from a strong dynamic impact - this knowledge helps to keep yourself and your colleagues safe.

At the training ground, students are explained how to behave in typical situations - from cordoning off a stop with an explosive device to getting a detainee into a car. The preparation of reports and the execution of other documentation are taught in classrooms.

In the center there is a room for psychological relief. Students are not only tested upon admission, but also accompanied at all stages of training. The work of the guys is stressful, so the room is available at any time. You can turn on the light projection, which calms the nerves. There are also motivating programs that relieve fatigue and put you on alert.

The methods used are different. For example, there is an audiovisual stimulation device. You need to put on glasses and headphones, after which a flashing red light turns on and an alarm sound is given. Programs are selected individually, energization is not suitable for everyone. A staff psychologist constantly conducts preventive conversations with listeners in order to anticipate possible psychological trauma.

The increase in the rate of recruitment of units of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Moscow and the increase in the requirements for the professional training of police officers were the basis for the decision, in September 1993, to create a temporary training center for the initial training of police officers of private security on the basis of the military unit of the UGPS.

It was headed by police colonel Alexander Grigorievich Posokh. On July 18, 1994, the temporary training center, by order of the head of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Moscow, Vladimir Iosifovich Pankratov No. 677, was transformed into a Training Center for the Training of Private Security Workers, the head of which was appointed Major Vladimir Kazyulin, who by that time had considerable experience behind him practical work. In 1996, the Center was headed by Militia Lieutenant Colonel Tsarev Nikolai Vasilyevich. From November 29, 2013 to April 20, 2017, the Center was headed by Police Colonel Alexander Viktorovich Getmanov. Since May 11, 2017, the Center as part of the Russian Guard has been headed by police colonel Sergei Vasilievich Cherepkov.

During the period of activity, the division was repeatedly reorganized. Changes were made to its name. Thus, by order of the Main Department of Internal Affairs for Moscow dated November 28, 2008 No. 628, the Training Center was transformed into a Vocational Training Center.

On the anniversary of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war 1941-1945 By order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation dated April 8, 2015 No. 416, the Center was given the honorary title "Center for professional training of private security personnel of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the city of Moscow named after Hero Soviet Union Stepan Kharitonovich Zaitsev.

Since its inception, the staff of the Center has done a lot of work to develop and strengthen the educational, material and regulatory framework, to form the foundations of the educational process. A lot of materials have been developed for training students in various job categories.

In the course of its activity, the command and teaching staff of the Center trained over 46 thousand employees. Today, in Moscow there is no such unit of private security, where the graduates of the Center would not work.

Repeatedly, the unit became the winner and prize-winner of various reviews and competitions held on the scale of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

In 1998, by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Center was awarded a valuable gift for the best results in the development of the educational and material base among the training centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Central Internal Affairs Directorate, and the Internal Affairs Directorate of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

In 2002, according to the results of the competition of Training Centers in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Center took 1st place in the Central Federal District of the Russian Federation, for which it was awarded a Gazelle car. In 2005, according to the results of the review - competition, the Center took 2nd place in the Central Federal District.

A feature of the Center is the non-staff Museum of the Private Security Service, created in the unit, which in 2002 was awarded the title of laureate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs with the award of the St. George prize.

In connection with the creation in the first half of 2016 on the basis of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation of a new body of the federal executive power- the National Guard, which was transferred the functions of various services, including private security units, it became necessary to transfer the Professional Training Center to the jurisdiction of the National Guard.
