TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Technical semi-coarse-wool felt according to the composition of the fibers in the mixture must correspond to that indicated in Table. 6.

Table 6

The mass fraction in the mixture of non-woolen fibers is allowed due to their presence in the tow, production waste and recovered wool or due to the partial replacement of these components with non-woolen fibers. The mass fraction of non-woolen fibers in the finished felt should not exceed the norms indicated in Table. 7.
It is allowed to replace up to 1% of sheep's natural semi-lipped varietal wool and up to 9% of sheep's fur semi-fine and semi-coarse wool and combed semi-coarse tow with a hot-washed hybrid klunker.
The color of the felt should be natural; different shades are allowed due to the use of dyed restored wool and combed semi-coarse-wool tow.
According to physical, mechanical and chemical indicators, technical semi-coarse-wool felt must comply with the standards specified in Table. 7.
The density of felt parts, depending on their thickness and outer diameter or length, must comply with the standards specified in Table. 8.
Deviations in the density of parts are allowed: minus - 0.01 g / cm³ for parts made of semi-coarse wool felt, 0.02 g / cm³ - for parts made of semi-coarse wool felt with a content of chemical fibers, plus - within the indicator for felt, taking into account the tolerance for volume mass of felt (see table. 7).
The density of the rings indicated in the table. 8 applies to rings having a flange width of at least 7 mm.
The density of rings having a flange width of less than 7 mm up to and including 2.5 mm is established by agreement between the consumer organization and the manufacturer.

Felt rings with outer diameter up to 60 mm incl. they are made whole-cut, over 60 mm - sewn from a strip, except for those rings that are technically impossible to sew due to the large difference in the ratio between the width of the side and the thickness of the ring. Such rings are made in one piece.
At the request of the consumer, it is allowed to produce whole-cut rings with an outer diameter of more than 60 mm.
Felt rings sewn from strip must meet the following requirements:
with an outer diameter of the ring up to 400 mm incl. one seam is allowed, more than 400 mm - two seams;
the joint line at the stitching point should be inclined, and the cut angle (a) should be 20-30 ° (see drawing);
stitching is carried out in at least two rows of linen threads according to GOST 14961-85 of the following linear densities:
105tex×5, 130tex×4, 105tex×6, 130tex×5 or extra strong cotton thread according to GOST 6309-80 of the following numbers: 0 (with nine folds), 00 (with twelve folds), 1 (with nine folds) ), 10 (with six additions);

1 About GOST 6308-71

105texX5, 130texX4, YuBtexXb, 130texX5 or extra strong cotton threads according to GOST 6309-80 of the following numbers: 0 (with nine folds), 00 (twelve folds), 1 (nine folds), 10 (six folds) );

cotton especially strong threads according to GOST 6309-80 of the following numbers: 0 (with nine additions), 00

(with the number of additions twelve), 1 (with the number of additions nine), 10 (with the number of additions six).

The linear density of the threads is chosen depending on the width of the rim and the thickness of the ring.

With a rim width of 10 mm or more, the line closest to the inner edge of the rim must be at least 3 mm away from it. With a rim width of less than 10 mm, it is allowed to sew the rings in one row with the stitching at an equal distance from the edges of the rim;

when stitching rings from strips up to 10 mm thick, the stitch pitch should be no more than 6 mm, with a strip thickness of more than 10 mm - no more than 10 mm;

the cut planes of the joint must fit snugly against each other and must not be displaced;

at the junction, the thickness of the ring must be within the limits and maximum deviations indicated in Table. five;

at the junction, the elasticity of the ring should not differ markedly from the elasticity of the ring in other areas;

the bulk of the fibers in the crosslinked ring should be directed along the circumference of the ring. By agreement with the consumer, it is allowed to manufacture rings with a transverse arrangement of fibers.

(Revised edition, Rev. No. 4).

2.8. Felt and details from it should not show signs of delamination and should be resistant to separation into layers.

2.9. Gluing felt and details from it is not allowed.

2.10. The surface of the parts must be clean, with evenly removed pile, without scars. The presence of pile is allowed in the details-layings.

2.11. Details should not have tears, torn places, bevels and other mechanical damage.

3. RULES OF ACCEPTANCE AND TEST METHODS

3.1. Acceptance rules and test methods - according to GOST 314-72,

3.2. Acceptance of felt by quantity is carried out according to the standard mass.

Conditional mass (t k) in kilograms is calculated by the formula

where Shf is the actual mass of felt, kg;

W n - normalized moisture content of the felt, %;

W$ - actual moisture content of the felt, %.

The calculation is made with an error of up to 0.1 kg. Sec. 3. (Changed edition, Rev. No. 1).

4. PACKAGING, LABELING, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

4.1. The felt cavities are tightly rolled up into a roll weighing no more than 70 kg and tied in two places with a rope in accordance with GOST 1868-88. With a felt cavity length of up to 1 m, tying with a rope in one place is allowed.

Tied rolls of felt are packed in packaging fabric according to GOST 5530-81, chemical fiber fabric according to normative and technical documentation or non-woven container fabric according to GOST 14253-83 and other normative and technical documentation. The rolls are sewn manually with twine according to GOST 17308-88. The stitch length should not exceed (40±10) mm.

When transported by road, in agreement with the consumer, it is allowed not to pack the tied rolls of felt.

4.2. Felt parts are packed in boxes in accordance with GOST 10350-81 or bags made of packaging fabric provided for in clause 4.1.

The weight of each box or bag with felt parts must not exceed 50 kg.

When packing felt parts of different sizes in one box or bag, parts of the same size must be tied with twine in packs. A label must be attached to each pack indicating the details in accordance with clause 4.3.

4.1, 4.2. (Changed edition, Rev. No. 2, 4).

4.3. Transport marking - according to GOST 14192-77 with indication of the handling sign "Afraid of dampness".

Additionally, each package contains data on the packaged products:

name of the manufacturer and its trademark;

name of felt or felt parts;

the thickness of the felt or the dimensions of the felt parts;

the mass of felt at normalized and actual humidity or the number of felt parts;

OTK stamp;

date of manufacture;

designation of this standard.

(Revised edition, Rev. No. 2).

4.4. Each shipment of felt and felt parts* must be accompanied by technical documentation certifying the conformity of products to the requirements of this standard and including:

a) name of the manufacturer;

b) product name by type of wool and purpose;

c) results of inspection and testing of products;

d) the designation of this standard.

4.4a. Felt and felt parts are transported by all types of transport in covered vehicles and universal containers in accordance with the rules for the carriage of goods in force for this type of transport.

By rail, these products are transported in small and carload shipments or in universal containers.

When transporting felt parts in transport packages, they must be formed in accordance with GOST 26663-85.

When transporting felt to the Far North and hard-to-reach areas, tied rolls must be sheathed with two layers of investment fabric or non-woven container fabric and tied with a rope, and felt parts are packed in boxes in accordance with GOST 10350-81.

(Revised edition, Rev. No. 4).

4.5. Felt and felt parts should be stored in a dry, ventilated area. The height of the stack when laying the felt should not exceed 2 m.

For air access, the base of the stack must be at least 0.2 m above the floor level of the room.

Felt parts should be stored in boxes or on racks in order to protect them from deformation.

4.6. Felt and felt parts should be treated with an anti-grinding preparation at least once every 5 months.

5. MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
