The resource of the imaging unit (Imaging Unit) for color laser printers of the CLP 3xx series is 20,000 pages. For the entire period of operation of the printer, working off the surface of the photodrum is cleaned into the hopper of the block.

Undoubtedly, its capacity is designed for such an amount of waste material. However, when this unit is nearing the end of its life, most printers show a print defect in the form of dark streaks in the middle of the copy.

We determine the cause

To accurately determine the culprit of the problem, you need to remove the cartridges after printing the sheet and look at the unit itself. The streaks on the sheet will match up with the remaining wear layer on the drum surface.

This indicates an overflow of the mining bunker, but what about the resource, calculations? The reason is different - the operating conditions, the design features of the printer and the relatively low sintering temperature of the toner.

The front plane of the block is located close to the furnace of the image fixing block. Under conditions of poor ventilation or a heavy load on the printer, the temperature in the working compartment rises significantly. Mining is gradually fused into a solid lump, which blocks the possibility of further compaction of the material throughout the volume of the bunker.

At the same time, the seal lever often jams, and the gears of this mechanism, slipping, emit characteristic clicks during operation.

How to disassemble and clean

To troubleshoot the problem, the imaging unit must be disassembled and cleaned. First you need to remove the photoconductor. To do this, pull the locking washers on both sides of the axle and remove it in the indicated direction.

If you take the axle out reverse side you can break or bend the contacts located inside. They are needed for electrical connection. working surface axle drum. In addition, a notch for these contacts is machined on the axis. Later, during assembly, the axle will need to be installed with the correct side - a groove to the gear.

With the photoconductor removed, you can immediately see where the stripes appear on the sheet. Waste toner has filled the entire volume and just wakes up.

Due to inexperience, it may seem that the solution to the problem is simple - just remove the waste with a vacuum cleaner. But this approach will only give a temporary solution, mining will quickly fill the cleared volume and the defect will appear again. And the seal mechanism will still be jammed and knocking.

For a quality repair, the unit must be completely disassembled.

Now you need to remove the left cheek. It is held in by three mounting screws, indicated in the photo.

And another screw that connects the cheek and cleaning blade.

Access to the second blade screw, on the right, is blocked by a bar, which also makes it impossible to remove the charge shaft and its cleaning shaft.

After the left cheek was removed, the transparent bar was released. Remove it by sliding it to the left (yellow arrow in the photo above) until it comes off the right guide pin. Also, now just remove both shafts.

Access to the right screw is still blocked by the same plastic guide pin, pull it until it exits the seat.

After removing all obstacles, unscrew the ill-fated right screw and remove the squeegee. Then we unscrew the three screws securing the right cheek and also remove it. Clean out any hardened wear to free the metal compactor arm. Don't forget to clean the gears.

To compact the waste, the lower lever drives the conveyor mechanism, it moves the toner from the bottom of the hopper to the free volume of the handle. Cured toner disrupts normal work these nodes, causing the waste to accumulate in a small volume near the photoconductor.

For further cleaning, parts of the hopper must be separated. They are held together by two screws, which are indicated in the photo above with yellow circles, and two latches at the bottom.

It is easy to remove all the remaining mining from the compartment of the removed handle. After cleaning, you need to check how freely the conveyor bar moves.

The entire cleaning operation described above must also be performed when replacing a worn photoconductor with a new one.

Video of disassembly and cleaning of Samsung CLP 310/315/320/325/365 printers:

Samsung CLP-310 is laser printer, which is able to print color images in a fairly high quality. This solution is great for those cases where the print volume does not exceed 5000 copies per month. It is suitable for work in a small office or workgroup. The printer in question is aimed precisely at this part of the market.

Samsung CLP-310: positioning

Due to the cost of 10 thousand rubles, the laser printer in question belongs to entry-level budget solutions. As additional evidence, you can also cite the fact that the printer has a small print volume. At the same time, the printing solution under consideration has one important feature - it is capable of printing sufficiently high-quality color images, pictures and photographs. For this reason, it's primary use is in small-scale workgroups or offices that require high-quality color yet low-cost printing. This printer can partially cover the printing needs even in medium or large establishments. However, it needs to be supplemented with some faster and more affordable monochrome printing solution. It is also appropriate to use the product in question at home. In this case, it is worth considering that such a default peripheral cannot be cheap. Consumables for it are quite expensive.

Samsung CLP-310: delivery set, connection and settings

In Samsung CLP-310, things are not bad with the package. The list of documentation that comes with the printer includes instructions and a warranty card. In addition to the printing device itself, the delivery list also includes a power cord, a computer cable, a cartridge with initial filling of toner, and a software disk. The documentation listed earlier is quite enough to start using this laser printer for its intended purpose. In the future, you only need to replenish the supply of toner in the cartridge as needed. Here is the algorithm for connecting and configuring this printing device:

- Remove the printer from the box;

— We remove the transport fasteners according to the instructions;

- We install the printer in a permanent place and connect it to a computer and AC power;

- Install the cartridges in the printer according to the instructions;

- Turn on the computer and printer;

- Insert the disk that came with the printer into the drive and install the drivers;

- Printing a test page.

That's it, the printer is ready to go.

Samsung CLP-310: used cartridges and their characteristics

As previously noted, Samsung CLP-310 can print in color. This laser printer uses a cartridge model Samsung 409. More specifically, it is a set of four cartridges. One of them, black, has an increased print resource. On one refill of toner, you can get 1,500 pages. The remaining three cartridges are used only in color mode. At one gas station they have a resource of 1000 pages. Cartridge models in this case are as follows: CLT-C409S/SE (blue), CLT-Y409S/SEE (yellow), CLT-M409S/SEE (magenta).

As noted earlier, the Samsung CLP-310 uses four cartridges at once. Accordingly, the toner should be used four different types: magenta, yellow, blue and black. As a result, only the toner will differ in the order of disassembly and refilling of the cartridges. All other operations in this case will be carried out identically. Refilling the cartridge is carried out in the following sequence:

- remove the required cartridge from the printer;

- dismantle the doctor blade (to do this, unscrew the three fixing screws and carefully remove the foam rubber along the edges of the blade). After that, push the blade forward and remove;

- we clean the container from the remnants of the toner and pour new powder into it;

- assemble the cartridge in the reverse order;

- we glue the existing contact group on the cartridge using a virtual chip;

- install the cartridge back.

Samsung CLP-310: Specifications

The Samsung CLP-310 has a very modest set of interfaces. In the list of technical specifications in this case, only USB support appears. RJ-45 and Wi-Fi are out of the question. The advantages of this peripheral device include resolution. It is 2400×600 and is the same for both monochromatic and color modes. Of course, this is not enough to display high-quality photographs. However, you can easily get average quality pictures.

Samsung CLP-310: performance

Samsung CLP-310 has a fairly good level of performance for a laser printer. It takes just 14 seconds to print the first black and white page. After that, the printer's speed level in monochromatic mode will be constant at 16 pages per minute. The printer will spend 26 seconds to output the first page in color. If color mode is selected, only 4 prints can be produced within a minute.

Samsung CLP-310: paper

The maximum supported paper size for the Samsung CLP-310 printer is A4. The disadvantages of this peripheral include the fact that it is not capable of borderless printing. Along the edges in without fail there will be indents of 0.5 mm. This machine can also print on A5, A6, B5, Letter size paper. Page density should be between 60 g/m 2 and 163 g/m 2 .

Samsung CLP-310: reviews

SamsungCLP-310 has excellent technical specifications both for a small office and a small workgroup. Refilling cartridges is also not too difficult, so even a novice user can handle it. It is these features associated with the operation that users indicate in their reviews. The advantages of this printer also include an extended list of supported software. The device, in addition to the usual Windows and MacOC, supports Linux. There are no downsides to this entry-level printer.

Conclusion

It should be borne in mind that initially the Samsung CLP-310 printer was positioned by the manufacturer as a budget laser printer with support for color printing. For this class of devices, such important features as a modest set of interfaces and the presence of margins on printed documents are typical. The model under consideration certainly has certain advantages. These include the possibility of color printing, high quality printed documents and low cost.

Color laser samsung printer CLP-310 capable of printing up to four color and sixteen monochrome pages per minute at a resolution of 2400x600 dpi. At the same time, its dimensions are only 38x31x24 cm, and the noise level does not exceed 45 dB.

    To be honest, I freaked out after reading the reviews here. People, it seems that you either buy defective printers, or treat them like lumpen proletarians. 1) "Paper jams." Personally, my paper jams about 1 time per 1000 printed sheets. You just need to be careful when placing paper in the tray. 2) "Expensive cartridges, cannot be refilled." The printer is simply flashed by any handy craftsman. If you are fuel and lubricants (a person with a Humanitarian Mind) you will have to spend a thousand dollars to have the flashing done for you in the service. After that, the toner can be filled with tons, spending a penny. 3) "Cartridges do not last long." I print with "draft" quality, because after a careful and captious examination of the test pages, I did not notice any difference with higher settings. one black

    not found if you take into account the price, you can simply say that you threw this money down the drain because you just got disappointed. 1 plus cartridges learned to refill

    Excellent color printing. Small noise.

    2 years ago 0

    Very low price, at the level of advanced inkjet printers, at the same time - laser color printing. The print quality is quite decent. Without obvious blockages in the lights and shadows. Color reproduction at 4. Perhaps it will improve after calibration.

    I will quote a friend named Volnov: "4-pass color printing => color prints are 4 times slower than b / w. At the same time, unlike inkjet printers, the page printing time does not depend on the page filling. Even though you have 2 lines text, even the square of Malevich - the time the page leaves the printer does not change.
    No other shortcomings for 3 years of use were found.

    2 years ago 0

    printing is not as expected - the photo prints but is a little dull, although it may be necessary to fiddle with the settings.

    2 years ago 0

    I use a year. Constant problems with the paper intake, since the purchase. I tried to change the paper - do not care. A printer for a man with iron nerves, ready to pull out and insert paper. Zadolbal. This is with my print volumes - I have not yet changed color cartridges, and black - once.

    2 years ago 0

    As I recently found out, it is impossible to refill the cartridge, although when I bought it I was tearfully assured that it was refillable, by the way, this was one of the motives for the purchase.

    2 years ago 0

    the print quality is terrible, there is no color transfer, after a year of use, the image began to blur the image just at the end of the warranty

    But the purchase of components is confusing, and they are not for sale, now I am selling the printer. In addition, it does not refuel.

    The tray and the main cartridges. The price of one goes off scale for 2000 rubles, and there are 4 of them.

    A set of cartridges costs almost as much as the printer itself. At the same time, the delivery set includes "starter" cartridges filled by 70 percent.
