Acceptance, delivery, commissioning

The policy of the Vyatka Machine Tool Plant approved the following works included in the cost of equipment:

  1. Preliminary acceptance of the SF676 machine at the location of LLC "VSZ". 2 Schemes and constructive device

The frame of the universal milling cutter SF-676 is made of cast iron, it acts as a supporting base on which the main structural components of the machine are fixed. A feed box and a speed block are mounted on the left side of the bed. A headstock moves along its upper part, on which a horizontal spindle is installed. On the same headstock, as necessary, you can mount a vertical spindle (to the front end).

The support of the milling cutter is mounted on vertical guides, the table - on horizontal ones. SF-676 is equipped with two working tables, the main of which is horizontal; workpieces up to 80 cm in length and 25 cm in width are mounted on it.

The electric drive of the machine is located at the bottom of the bed, on the base plate, inside of which there is a reservoir for the coolant. All electrical equipment of the unit is located under the top cover of the frame, which provides free access to the equipment as needed.

The main functional elements of the design of the milling cutter SF-676 are the caliper and the headstock:

The performance check begins with the machine running at the minimum spindle speed, after which the speed increases up to the maximum. In the main operating speed mode, the unit must operate for 2 hours, after which the spindle supports must not heat up to a temperature of more than 50 degrees.

After the idle run, the machine is checked under load. The unit must operate at maximum cutting force and in 25% overload mode (short-term). SF-767, which is in good technical condition, even when overloaded within the specified limits, it does not produce vibrations that affect the accuracy of milling. Checking the machine should be carried out at an ambient temperature of +20 degrees, the recommended air humidity is 65%.

For the first time, the SF-676 milling machine was released in the 70s, after which it began to be used large enterprises operating in various industries. Universal equipment allows you to perform high-precision work, both in open areas and in closed industrial premises. The main condition for the operation of the equipment is a humidity not higher than 70% and a temperature ranging from +18 to +20 degrees.

The SF-676 universal milling machine is designed for milling parts with cylindrical, disk and shaped cutters using a horizontal spindle, and face, end and key cutters using a rotary vertical spindle.

The universal milling machine is most preferably used in the tool shops of factories or workshops for the manufacture of small fixtures, tools, embossed dies and other products.

The machine is used in single and small-scale production in tool and machine shops of machine-building enterprises.

The SF-676 milling machine has two spindles - a horizontal and a rotary vertical one, which allow processing a complex workpiece without reinstalling it on the desktop, which significantly increases productivity.

On the SF-676 machine, you can perform a number of milling and boring operations with high accuracy, which can be achieved if the machine is installed in a room with constant temperature 20±2°С and humidity 65±5% if there are no sources of heat and vibration near the machine. The horizontal and vertical spindles are located in the headstock and are connected to each other by a gear train. The headstock is mounted on horizontal guides and carries out cross feed on the machine. Description of the design of the universal milling machine SF-676 and its accessories

The SF676 universal milling machine consists of the main units (list below), which organically determine its design, and a number of removable units and accessories, thanks to which its operational capabilities are significantly expanded

On a cast-iron base, a bed is fixed, on which all the main components of the machine are mounted.

Gear boxes and a feed box are installed on the side of the frame.

In the upper part of the bed, along horizontal guides, the headstock with a horizontal spindle moves. To the front end of the headstock, if necessary, attach the head of the vertical spindle.

The caliper moves along the vertical guides of the bed, and the table moves along the horizontal guides of the caliper.

An angular horizontal table is attached to the vertical (base) plane of the table, which serves to install and fasten the workpieces.

The electric motor for driving the main movement chain and the feed chain is placed in the base. The coolant is supplied by an electric pump mounted on a base, which is also used as a reservoir.

Electrical equipment is located under the covers in the frame.

The gear-type gearbox is assembled in a special housing, which is flange-mounted to the side of the frame, informs the horizontal and vertical spindles of 16 different speeds by selective dialing.

The speed change is made by the switching mechanism located on the front wall of the box body, as follows: the speed change handle (4) must be lifted up. In this case, discs (6) having a number of holes are bred. When the speed dial disc (1) and the associated discs are rotated, the position of the disc holes relative to the pins (7) changes. This is the preparation for switching gears.

A downward movement of the shift lever brings the discs back to their original position. At the same time, the fingers, moving, translate the transfer gears of the gearbox with the help of levers.

When switching, cases of coincidence of the ends of the teeth of the meshed gears are possible. In this case, the disks are not reduced. In this case, it is necessary to turn the shaft 1 with the flywheel (see Fig. 6).

To avoid gear breakage, gear shifting under load is prohibited.

The feed box tells the caliper and headstock 16 different feeds and rapid movements.

The shafts of the feed box receive rotation from 1 shaft of the gearbox (see Fig. 6). The last (driven) shaft of the gearbox is connected to the roller, on which two sprockets (10, 11) are placed (see Fig. 10), which transmit movement to the caliper and headstock mechanisms.

The change in feeds is carried out in the same way as the change in the gearbox (see the description of the gear set mechanism in the “Gearbox” node).

When switching feeds, it is necessary to ensure that the cross handle of the caliper is in the neutral position.

Rapid movement is carried out by pressing the handle (7). When the handle is released, the cutting feed continues.

For the implementation of a constant direction of rotation of the gears of the feed box when the gearbox is reversed, the gear (9) is used, which automatically maintains the direction of rotation.

A piston pump (5) is used to lubricate the gears of the gearbox, feed box and headstock. The piston (4) of the pump is driven in reciprocating motion from the eccentric of the gear (9). During the reciprocating movement of the pump piston, oil is sucked from the bed reservoir and sprayed. An oil mist is created, which lubricates all gears. To monitor the operation of the pump, a transparent eye (6) is installed on the flange of the feed box, in which oil pulsation is visible.

The horizontal spindle (1) is mounted in a special housing (12), which moves along the guides of the bed, thereby carrying out the transverse feed of the machine.

The spindle receives rotation from the gearbox through the intermediate drum gear (18) (see Fig. 11) mounted in the bed and the gear (9) sitting on the spindle.

The upper guides of the headstock are designed to mount the vertical head (Fig. 15) and the trunk (11). An earring (17) is attached to the trunk to support the mandrels. The clamping of the vertical head, trunk and earring is carried out with crackers when screwing the screws (10) (see Fig. 5) with an internal hexagon.

The front support of the horizontal spindle is a double row roller bearing (4) with a tapered bore. Axial loads are taken by thrust ball bearings (5). The middle and rear bearings of the horizontal spindle are deep groove ball bearings (8.10), which simultaneously serve as pinion bearings (9).

The clamping of the tool in the horizontal spindle is carried out by a ramrod (13).

The amount of mechanical movement of the headstock is set by intermediate stops (16).

The headstock is moved by a screw (14) rigidly connected to it and a rotating nut (17) (see Fig. 10) fixed in the frame.

The design of the machine provides the possibility of precise movements of the headstock for jig boring work. To do this, an indicator holder (18) is installed on the headstock, and a tile holder is attached to the frame, on which tile-parallel measuring tiles are installed.

The vertical spindle is mounted in a special head with a trunk for mounting in the upper guides of the headstock. If necessary, the head can be turned on the faceplate of the trunk (18) by ±90° from the vertical. Zeroing in the vertical position is fixed by two conical pins with a handle. The clamping of the head on the faceplate of the trunk is made with bolts with an internal hexagon.

The vertical spindle (23) is mounted in a sleeve (5), which is manually moved in the housing (6) by means of a pinion roller (24).

The sleeve is clamped with a star handle (25), which has a hexagon for a more reliable clamping.

The weight of the spindle is balanced by a spiral leaf spring, one end of which is connected to the pinion roller, the other - to the body of the vertical head.

The bevel gears of the head are supported by double radial bearings (10,17). The rotation of the spindle shank from the vertical bevel gear (9) is transmitted by splines. The horizontal bevel gear (19) receives rotation through the splines from the horizontal shaft (20).

Device

The machine bed 676 is made of cast iron and serves as a load-bearing base with the main structural elements fixed on it. On the left side of the bed, a speed block and a feed box are installed. On the upper surface of the skeleton moves the headstock with a horizontal spindle installed. On this element, if necessary, a vertical spindle device is installed.

The caliper is mounted on vertical rails, the table - on horizontal elements. The machine is equipped with a main horizontal table and an additional vertical counterpart. Workpieces up to 800 mm in length and 250 mm in width are fixed on the main workbench.

The electric drive of the unit is located in the lower part of the frame, placed on a support in the form of a plate, inside of which there is a container for the coolant. All the electrical filling of the machine is located under the bed cover in the upper part. This design does not impede access to the nodes for repair or maintenance.

The main functional parts of the milling machine are the caliper and the spindle head. The purpose of the caliper is to hold and move the desktop in the transverse-longitudinal plane. The element is driven by a drive shaft that transmits torque from the power unit to the feed box.

Maintenance

Health check

This process begins with the equipment running at a minimum speed, gradually increasing it to a maximum rate. In the main working gear of rotation, the machine must work for at least two hours, while the spindle supports cannot be heated above 50 degrees.

After checking the unit at idle, it is subjected to a load. The milling cutter should work at the maximum cutting force in the short-term 25% overload mode. At normal operation in this mode, the appearance of vibrations is not observed and high processing accuracy is maintained.
