Developing magazine for children "Fidget".

Readers got acquainted with the first issue of the magazine in 1958. After a break in 2003, the edition rich in illustrations, useful for children and their parents, is being updated. It currently comes out twice a month. In view of the dissimilarity of each issue to another, the kids are looking forward to it. The Uniline LLC publishing house located in Smolensk produces printed materials for children of preschool and primary school age. Distributed in Russian Federation and CIS countries.

From the history

Parents of little why-whys at all times have dreamed of a magical book or publication, which, when it falls into the hands of a completely exciting child. It is to such magazines that "Fidget" can be attributed. Numerous publishing houses are preparing for release not newspapers for mothers and children, but full-fledged magazines.
The name is associated with a noisy and restless age, when kids show excessive curiosity and do not stay in one place for a long time. AT this moment they can be captivated by entertaining and funny stories. Created for the development of the child with elements of the game, the content attracts preschoolers and older people who discover a lot of new and exciting things.
The publication is mainly intended for independent viewing. The authors make minimum requirements that force them to show creativity, initiative and a desire to comprehend the environment. Magazine:
o Opens a previously unknown world for children.
o Reveals individual abilities.
o Promotes fulfillment as a person.
The non-random name is fully consistent with the playful, restless period of life.

Educational rubrics included:
Make your own fun toy.
Problem solving in pictures.
Coloring puzzles.
Scary jokes.
Play with your friends.
Page for the detective.
Pirate tales.
Stereo eye.
Exhibition works of masters of the brush.
Crossword.
Laughing.

In the section on a cool toy, it is proposed to cut and make a toy to improve your own mood and friends. Children are certainly pleased with all kinds of poems and stories from famous and emerging poets and writers.
The publication is replete with information necessary for the development of the child:
 Coloring pages.
 Crosswords.
 Scanwords.
Puzzles.
 Riddles.
Comics.

Kids do not get bored with the personal skill of crafts using paper and plasticine. Many choose it for useful spending free time.
Each issue contains a board game dedicated to a specific topic. Particularly pleasing are the issues dedicated to especially significant holidays: for the Victory Day "For the Motherland" or about the flight of a man into space - "Walking on the Moon".
Without rebuses, crossword puzzles and riddles, not a single issue appears in the world, a selection of which teaches you to think broadly and increase your imagination. At this age, fine motor skills of the fingers are extremely important. For this purpose, coloring pages are printed, material for further cutting and gluing.

Decor

On pages with a colorful design, children will find a lot of new and interesting things. On 30 sheets there is a huge amount of various "fillings". At a young age, children like not too voluminous fairy tales and prose stories that teach kindness and honesty. A lot of pleasant minutes are delivered by reading comics, which, without exception, are to the taste of all children.

Answers to "difficult" questions

Of particular interest to parents and children is the section "cheat sheets" outlining about:
 How to prepare invisible ink.
 Opportunities to pretend to be a polyglot and other useful answers to extraordinary questions.
Explaining why a bike is stable baffles many adults, except for those who regularly buy from kiosks and stores or receive Fidget magazine in the mail!

I remember how, when I was little, I waited with great pleasure for the release of my children's thematic periodicals: my mother brought me a crispy magazine from the kiosk with the pages glued together, it smelled so specific of a printing house ... That smell forever sunk into my heart, and it is associated with joyful awe in the soul: anticipation of new stories, riddles, puzzles and, of course, drawings!

Therefore, now, having become a mother of two beautiful children, I consider it necessary to instill in them the desire to know the unknown, which everyone, especially a child, should have.

Children's magazine fidget

I can tell about this periodical, if not all, then a lot.

We have been writing it for many years, and everything about it suits us.

I will not talk about everything in a row, I will try to construct my thoughts.

Age

The publication is aimed at children from five years old. However, for the first time we bought it when our daughter was not yet four: since she is a diligent, calm girl, we considered it reasonable to try to read with her and look at the illustrations.

The child was interested from the first time, leafing through and examining the drawings with interest. At the time, we didn't buy every issue, we only had one for a few months.

Closer to the age of five, the daughter already showed an increased interest in this magazine: she asked her to read what she had written, retelled, understood the essence. She tried to solve some problems, and often she succeeded.

Illustrations

If the baby is not yet five, I think that the publication will be able to captivate him: huge and bright pictures please not only the children's eyes, but even an adult is pleasant to look at. Personally, when I look, I just remember myself as a little girl, I remember how I myself looked at the same pictures and get pleasure from it.

Quality

Children, as you know, up to a certain age (7-9 years) perceive tactile sensations more visual and auditory.

So, in this case, the material of the pages is just designed for such a perception, because they are not just smooth, but satin! You run your hand over them - perfect evenness, and most importantly, what a pleasant feeling)) Mine is so happy when she touches her finger on the smoothest surface of the sheet.

There are little stories: they are ideal for those who are just learning to read - the child likes the feeling of completeness. And it is better when teaching to read to give him a short story to read than a passage of a large one. So the baby will receive satisfaction from the fact that he was able to bring the matter to the end.

If there are more works for children who have already mastered reading on good level.

The biggest and important game is located exactly in the middle of the magazine: in order to start playing it, you need to have chips and a cube (not included in the set, we purchase it ourselves). The rules are standard, known to all parents - it will not be difficult to explain to the baby.

Pictures attract the eye and curiosity of the child, and from that the kid wants to play to the very end to find out what awaits him there ahead.

There are many other games that are no less interesting: you can play both in a company and alone.

As a parent, I am glad that they are able to focus the child and teach mindfulness and diligence: for example, connecting the dots in the right sequence, for example, is not easy if the child is distracted and unable to draw a straight line. But, at the same time, such a task cannot be called difficult; a five-year plan is quite suitable.

All pre-school development centers promise to work on fine motor skills, because many children have trouble with this.

This magazine contains exercises that involve cutting and gluing pictures to end up with a paper toy. Children are engaged in this process with great interest, which means they improve their skills in using the instrument, and then I save the handicraft created by my own hands.
