This width is achieved by using four mechanical expanders, 1 m each, hung on a sliding slab with a working width of 2.5 ... 5 m. New tracked paver Asf-G-2-01, introduced in 2009, is designed for laying pavement with a width of 2.2 ... 3.75 m and a thickness of 30 to 250 mm, both single-pitched and double-pitched. With two extensions of 0.5 m each, the paving width can be increased up to 4.75 m. The screed is equipped with a tamper and a screed with a vibration mechanism. The vibration frequency is similar to the models mentioned above. The scope of application depends on the paving width - footpaths (the first standard size, it is also used when expanding the road and often with minor repairs) or roads of various widths.

Today, road construction is mostly done by self-propelled machines driven by paver operators, but there is also a less popular solution - a paver in the form of a trailer.

  • universal - thanks to interchangeable equipment - I can work with various road-building materials.

According to the type of chassis, there are:

  • Tracked asphalt pavers. This type of road-building special equipment is used with high efficiency on large-scale facilities (airport runways, highways), the construction of which involves the use of a significant amount of road surface. Tracked vehicles have the ability to lay out a large width of the roadway.
  • Wheeled asphalt pavers. Machines of this type are advantageously used when laying small sections of the road surface, which do not differ in a significant thickness of asphalt. Relatively fast travel speed, in comparison with caterpillar counterparts, will allow the wheeled paver to quickly arrive at the emergency section of the road.

Performance characteristics of asphalt pavers

  • Mini pavers. The weight of the machines is up to 6 tons, the productivity is up to 250 tons of pavement per hour, and the width of the finished roadbed is from 1 to 3.5 meters.
  • Middle class asphalt pavers. These machines weigh from 6 to 10 tons, stack from 250 to 700 tons of mortar per hour, the working width for this type of equipment does not exceed 5 meters.
  • Heavy asphalt pavers. The weight of this equipment exceeds 10 tons, the average productivity is 700-950 tons of road repair mixture per hour, and the asphalt paving width reaches 12 meters.

Technical description asphalt paver Asf-G-4-03

For the first time in Russia, the most modern design solutions regarding the layout, automatic control all working bodies and maintaining the set course, which made it possible to significantly improve the output parameters of the machine in terms of the quality of paving and compaction of the asphalt concrete mix (ABS).

The asphalt paver is designed to receive asphalt mixes from Vehicle, spreading over the road base with a layer of a given thickness, leveling and pre-compacting the laid layer on prepared and pre-compacted bases in accordance with SNiP 3.05.03 in the construction and repair of roads of all categories according to SNiP 2.05.-2, airfields, city streets and squares.

Asf-G-4-03 asphalt paver provides laying of a horizontal, single-pitched or dual-pitched transverse profile of the pavement with a strip width of 2.5 to 9 m.

The mixture loading and feeding system ensures a continuous supply of material from bunkers to the vibrating plate. Each flap of the bunker is controlled autonomously. The bunker, with a maximum opening width of 3.25 meters, has enough volume to work with large dump trucks, which allows you to not interrupt the work of the paver when changing trucks at loading.

The machine is equipped with a powerful D-260.4 engine manufactured by MMZ, with a power of 154 kW (210 hp), which provides the theoretical performance of the ABS paver up to 600 t/h with a paving width of up to 9 m.

Fuel tank with a capacity of 290 l. allows the asphalt paver Asf-G-4-03 to work for more than 10 hours and the operation of the machine is not interrupted for refueling.

The undercarriage of the paver with balance track units is optimally suited for heavy daily work on the job site and delivers even traction and precise trajectory when driving in a straight line or when cornering. The track tensioning and releasing mechanism automatically tensions the tracks, as it is provided by pressure from the paver's hydraulic system. Rubberized tracks provide good grip on the road.

Travel drive, feeders, screws, hydraulic by means of modern pumps and hydraulic motors from Sauer-Danfoss. Automatic control of all working bodies and the course of the machine is carried out electronic system PLUS+1 of the same company.

The control system based on the latest PLUS + 1 controllers - allows you to implement electro-hydraulic control of actuators that perform technological operations at the required level, create a diagnostic system displaying information about the operation of the most important components and assemblies of the machine.

Together, this system allows you to:

Rectilinear movement of the paver;

Turn on the spot (tracks move in opposite directions);

Movement along a given turning radius;

Proportional control of the productivity of augers and feeders, i.e. with a decrease in the amount of ABS behind the feeders or under the augers, the control system makes the material feed gradually increase and vice versa;

The machine is controlled by joysticks located on the control panel.

The control of the amount of ABS supplied is carried out by means of TSD ultrasonic sensors (a joint company of Topcon-Sauer-Danfoss), tuned to the optimal amount of filling of the auger chamber - there is always the optimal amount of mixture in front of the plate, eliminating the presence of gaps during laying and overloading the travel drive with an excess of mixture in front of the plate.

The reverse of the feeders allows, after the laying, to prevent the material from falling. Scraper feeders return the material back to the feeder tunnel so that there is no loss of material during movement around the job site.

The reversible augers allow you to change the amount of material fed to match paving conditions. In this way, the right amount of material is always supplied, for example in case of uneven layer thicknesses on the outside or when paving on curves.

Raising and folding the awning allows you to perform these actions by one person.

Thanks to the seats that extend outward from the machine body, the paver operator has an optimal view of the working area and the hopper.

On the paver, adaptation to paving thicknesses from 30 mm. up to 300 mm. carried out mechanically by adjusting the height of the augers, which makes it possible to optimally adjust the amount of material for any paving thickness and thus achieve the best High Quality styling.

The new design of the working plate has increased rigidity, double spreading and provides a higher degree of compaction of the laid asphalt pavement and evenness of the pavement through the use of a double tamper bar and a vibrating plate.

The working plate of the asphalt paver has modern system gas heating, with remote ignition of the burners, ionization flame control and automatic control of the set temperature of the screeds. All functions of the burners are controlled by the operator from a separate control panel.

The paver is equipped with automatic control system for the profile of the layer to be laid SAU "MOVA" (Germany) and can be supplied with a 4- or 6-burner infrared heater for asphalt edges on a separate order.
