Cooking guide sections:
1 - 80
Apprentice 80 - 130

Cooking leveling guide 1 - 525

We start as always - with the study of the profession Cooking. You can do this in any capital of Azeroth with a trainer. Finding a coach (of course, if you don't already know where he is) is very simple - ask the guard and they will tell you. Learn Cooking (Apprentice).

For cooking, pull out the Bonfire skill somewhere on the panel.

If you don't plan on leveling up a profession to 450 per day, visit Marogg in Orgrimmar or Robbie Flay in Stormwind. These NPCs give dailies that you will have to do if you are going to get to 525 Cooking. As you complete the quests, for each of them, you will be given 1 or 2 Chef's Rewards. These rewards can be used to purchase new recipes, but more on that later when you reach profession level 450.

  • 1 - 40
    60 x [Spice Bread] - 60 [Simple Flour] , 60 Herbs

Usually, where there are bears, there are also wolves. Kill both of them so that you can also cook [Spice Wolf Meat] .

Upon reaching 75, don't forget to visit the trainer.

80 - 130

Learn from the trainer Cooking (Journeyman).

  • 80 - 130
We head to Ashenvale, then to the northwest, to the sea, between the Blackfathom Deep and Zoramtar Outpost.

There is another great recipe for stage 275 - 300, but to get it, you have to run through the Dire Maul East dungeon. This [Recipe: Rune-Tum Root Dessert] drops a mob named Puzzillin, who at the very beginning of the instance invites you to play catch-up.

At level 70, you can run this dungeon alone - the higher your level, the better. The recipe, unfortunately, becomes personal when picked up, and therefore it will be more difficult to get it with a group, especially considering that everything plays on everything.

To prepare the recipe, you need to collect [Rune-Tum Root] in the same dungeon, which are found in Crooked Tree Pods scattered throughout the instance. In one run, you can collect about 25 roots, which will be enough to upgrade Cooking to 300.

Although, it is worth noting that on Desserts you can get up to 325, all you have to do is run through the dungeon a few more times. Do it or not - it's up to you.

To get this recipe, you need to complete two quests:
    1. Dish of worms
    2. Giving knowledge

300 - 350

Visit a profession trainer and learn Cooking (Master).

  • 300 - 325
30 x [Ravager Meat Sausage] (recipe) - 30 [Ravager Flesh]

To get the recipe, you will have to complete a chain of quests:
    1. Harvest Ravager Eggs
    2. Sinister is also meat
    3. Fly like a bird

  • 325 - 350
You have a choice of three options. We recommend farming Talbuk and Hoof meat in Nagrand, if only because it's easier.

Please note that in order to be able to talk with mobs in Nagrand, you need to upgrade your reputation with Kureinai or Mage Harami to at least neutral.

  • 365 - 375
The Cooking Trainer will teach you a lot of recipes, however they will all turn green at 382 and gray at 415. Any of these recipes are good for a profession. We recommend Rhino Sausages, especially if you're going to be farming ingredients. Near the Horde fortress in the Borean Tundra, there are a bunch of these Rhinos and they respawn almost instantly.

If you don’t want to farm at all, look at the auction for the cheapest meat ([Rhino Meat] , [Worm Meat] , [Fangtooth Herring]), buy the ones that match the list of recipes and do it.

  • 400 - 415
Cook with recipes from 365 - 375 if you don't want to bother with daily quests in Dalaran. The recipes will be green, which means that the Cooking skill will not increase every time - it is recommended to do this only if you need to pump in Cooking as quickly as possible, which, in fact, is what we need.

In fact, you can rock beer up to 440 if you want. Remember, beer reagents are sold by vendors (waiters and bartenders) all over the world, so buying them from an auction is highly discouraged.

  • 430 - 450
    20 x [Blackened Surprise] - 20 [Very Tough Meat]

450 - 525

Visit a Cooking trainer and learn Cooking (Renowned Master).

From now on, all recipes will have to be purchased with Chef's Rewards, which are given to you for daily quests in Orgrimmar and Stormwind City. As soon as you accumulate enough rewards, buy the necessary recipe and upgrade the profession to a certain level. The regular price of the recipe is 3 Chef's Rewards.

  • 450 - 475
Go through the auction and compare the prices of the ingredients below, then choose the cheapest one and buy it in quantities from 28 to 35 pieces (more is better, you can always sell). If Fishing is maxed out, catch a Striped Lurker in the Twilight Highlands and roast it!

You will need in large numbers spices, so make sure you buy them before you go farming animals. You can buy spices from food vendors or household supplies vendors.

Buy from the merchant: [Basic Wood] and [Flint and Tinder], and you can start a Campfire to cook food.

Visit any trainer in Azeroth's capitals and learn Cooking (Apprentice).

cooking 1 - 40

60 x [Spice Bread] - 60 [Simple Flour], 60 Herbs

cooking 40-80

40 x [Smoked Bear Meat] - 40 [Bear Meat]

50 x [Roasted Raptor] - 50 [Raptor Flesh]

25 x [Monstrous Omelet] - 25 Giant Egg, 50 Aromatic Spices

cooking 250 - 285

40 x [Juicy Bear Cutlet] - 40 [Bear Side]

cooking 285 - 300

15 x [Smoked Desert Dumpling] - 15 [Sandworm Meat], 15 Fragrant Spices

To get this recipe, you need to complete the quest chain: Dish of Worms, Empowerment of Knowledge

Go to the Outlands and learn Cooking (Master).

cooking 300 - 325

Now you should buy [Cookbook]

30 x [Ravager Meat Sausage] - 30 [Ravager Flesh]

30 x [Buzzard Snack] - 30 [Buzzard Meat]

To get this recipe, you need to complete a chain of quests.

Collecting Ravager Eggs

Sinister is also meat

Fly like a bird

cooking 325 - 350

Now you have 3 choices. What I mean is that farming Wild Talbuk Meat and Clefthoof Meat is much easier than Hopper Flesh since they are both found in Nagrand, but if you want Jumper Cutlet you will have to travel.

35 x [Talbuk Steak] - 35 [Wild Talbuk Meat]

35 x [Roasted Clefthoof] - 35 [Clefthoof]

35 x [Jumper Cutlet] - 35 [Jumper Flesh]

Go to Northrend and learn Cooking (Grand Master).

cooking 350 - 365

You need to complete the Cooking of the North quest. For it, you will need 4 pieces of Chilled Meat. Completing the quest will allow you to learn how to make [Northern Stew]

20 x [Northern Stew] - 20 Chilled Meat

Cooking 365 - 375

The Cooking Trainer will teach you many recipes that turn green at 382 and gray at 415. Any of these recipes are good for leveling Cooking.

13 x [Rhino Sausages] - 13 [Rhino Meat]

Cooking 375 - 400

To make one [Kungalush], you need to spend 66 silver. It's more expensive than [Rhino Sausages], but if you don't want to farm, do the following:

First you need to complete the quest chain. The chain begins with a quest called Liquor for someone, Lemonade for someone, and ends with the Tasting quest. After you complete the quest chain, go to Dalaran and find the Weary Mage. He will teach you how to make [Kungalush]. After that, go to Yablochkin and buy the ingredients necessary for Kungalush.

cooking 400 - 425

Every recipe except this item will be purchased with the [Dalaran Culinary Reward], which is awarded by completing daily quests. Quests are given by Katerina Lee (Alliance) or Avilo Lon "gomba (Horde). After skill 425, you will need rewards and tons of Northern spices.

Choose one of the recipes and craft it up to skill 425. The recipes are sold by Derek Odds (Alliance) and Mizensee (Horde).

cooking 425 - 450

[Feast for Giants] or [Feast for Dwarfs]. Both recipes can be bought from the sellers written just above.

  5. Repeat actions until your skill increases to 520

We pump the skill 520-600

Still there in Halfhills, you need to talk to Songshin Ironpaw again.
She will offer you to complete a chain of two quests:
1. So you want to be a chef?
2. Path to greatness

After completing the chain, 6 quests will open for you: one quest for each new specialization.
Five of the six specializations give you the ability to cook food to increase one of the main characteristics, the sixth specialization teaches you how to brew drinks of different strengths.
Only by pumping the skill of the chosen path up to 600, you will be able to cook food with the maximum buff of the main characteristic.
