List of in-demand. What professions are currently in demand in the labor market? Three highly paid liberal arts jobs

Highly paid professions are an interesting topic for any graduate, applicant or even student who decides to evaluate whether his direction is promising. Due to technological progress, some professions are becoming less in demand, while others are gaining popularity. Consider which professions in 2019 are the most highly paid and promising.

The list of the most demanded and highly paid professions in Russia is diverse, which makes it possible for people with any mindset to prove themselves. For convenience, consider the current directions in several categories:

  • technical;
  • social;
  • "business";
  • working professions.

Technical professions

What profession is the most demanded and highly paid? Many will say with confidence that these are professions related to programming. People with a technical profession create, improve and monitor the normal operation of certain technologies, systems, devices, etc. Since an increasing part of the work once done by a person is being automated, such areas are the most promising and highly paid. The income of people with a technical profession will not be low in 2019, nor in 20 or even 50 years.

The top ten highest paid technical jobs in Russia in 2019 include:

  • programmers;
  • roboticists - specialists in the creation, programming and maintenance of robots, must be engineers and programmers at the same time;
  • nanotechnologists - specialists who study negligible units (atoms and molecules) and create new structures from them;
  • designers - engineers developing projects of buildings and engineering communications;
  • architects,
  • web designers.

Despite the demand for these jobs in the labor market, there are not enough specialists in some of them. Design engineers or roboticists are quite rare. This is due to the fact that technical professions require a long and in-depth study and only people with a certain mindset master them at the level. But if you've always been interested in technology and decide to put in the effort to learn, it will definitely pay off.

social professions

In connection with technological progress, the standard of living of the population is also improving. Improving the quality of life leads to a desire to take better care of health and get a better education, so representatives of social professions are guaranteed to be provided with jobs in the near future. The most popular and highly paid of them in 2019:

  • psychologists;
  • psychotherapists;
  • dentists;
  • pharmacists;
  • coaches;
  • lawyers.

An increasing number of people in Russian society are willing to pay for psychological and psychotherapeutic support due to increased awareness of the benefits of such assistance. In these cases, people who are not inclined to interest in technology find themselves. The work of a coach is also gaining popularity - a person who studies any issue at an expert level and transfers his knowledge to people. Such services, as well as the services of a lawyer, are in demand both among individuals and among large enterprises, so a specialist will definitely not be left without work.

Physicians of a narrow profile, in particular dentists, dermatologists, cosmetologists, etc., will also receive decent pay. Getting such an education is not easy, but with a certain qualification, it will be very easy for a physician to find a job.

"Business" professions

A lot of professions in demand in 2019 remain related to business support, despite the fact that some of these jobs are expected to disappear in the future. Thus, a risk manager (who assesses the feasibility of the entrepreneurial risk an organization takes and seeks measures to minimize such risk) is among the top highest paid professions in the Russian Federation. Also in demand are:

  • analysts who analyze the work of the business to make suggestions for its improvement;
  • marketers who develop methods for promoting a particular product, distinguishing it from competitors;
  • PR-specialists who create a positive image for the brand and organization;
  • designers who develop the design of products manufactured by the organization and its packaging, as well as the organization's website, advertising products, etc.;
  • sales managers;
  • financiers;
  • business coaches;
  • lawyers.

Business professions have a broad profile. They can only delve into the analysis of the financial side of the business, or only manage personnel or work with customers and partners, or make suggestions to improve the quality of products. But most of all, multidisciplinary specialists who know the basics of IT, economics, and are able to manage personnel are valued. Their salary depends on the amount of profit they bring to the organization.

Working professions

The opinion is very popular that a profitable business now is only an activity related to IT. However, people engaged in "manual labor" are also very highly valued by employers if they have the proper qualifications and experience. Claim for a high level of income:

  • electricians;
  • locksmiths;
  • welders.

Such a selection was made taking into account the vacancies that employers offer, but in the field of private business, any “working” specialist with the appropriate qualifications has a good profit.

Secondary education

Even without getting a higher education, you can provide yourself with a decent standard of living if you choose the right profession. Consider the top 5 highly paid professions after grade 9, when a graduate prefers to receive a secondary specialized education:

  1. An electrician - with experience and qualifications, receives a salary of up to 100 thousand rubles.
  2. Plumber - a salary of about 70 thousand per month.
  3. Crane operator - a professional has an income above the average for the region.
  4. Makeup artist - with a certain level of skill, they earn big money depending on demand and the number of clients.
  5. Cook - the average salary of chefs is from 70 thousand.

You can also complete short courses of programmers, designers, massage therapists, etc. and try to get a job.

Skilled labor in 2019 will be very valuable in connection with the development of production in the country. But among the profitable jobs there are not only “male” jobs associated with working with technology. So, almost any girl can become a cook, make-up artist, designer, beautician. But the main thing when choosing a profession after grade 9 is to be guided by the tastes of the student, since in order to achieve success in work, you must at least show interest in your occupation and strive to develop in it. And the work of good specialists in any business is well paid.

If you have not yet decided on a profession, it is better to leave school after the 11th grade.

What professions are most in demand in the world

The most demanded professions in 2019 differ in each country due to the individual characteristics of the development of the economy. If after graduation you plan to find a job in another country, you need to focus on what professions are in demand there. Consider the top highest paid professions in the most popular places for migration - the United States and European countries.

The most financially successful in the United States are doctors. Medical education in the country is very prestigious and expensive, so even young professionals there get good money. It is doctors who lead the top 5 profitable professions in the United States:

  1. Anesthetist.
  2. Surgeon.
  3. Obstetrician-gynecologist.
  4. Orthodontist.
  5. Therapist.

There is a chance to make good money for representatives of the "business" and technical professions. Top managers, engineers, architects, lawyers, financiers, marketers are valued.

The ranking of professions that bring a lot of income in France and in Europe is as follows:

  1. Doctors of the highest category.
  2. Dentists.
  3. Financial Manager.
  4. Account Manager.
  5. Patent specialist.

The specifics of the market in the US and European countries differ in wages, working and living conditions.

What jobs will be in demand in 5 years?

Already in 5 years there will be many new professions that do not exist today, and the demand for jobs that are quite rare today will also increase significantly. Consider the top professions needed in 2020, which in 5 years will be more in demand than now:

  1. IT specialist. Despite the fact that this work is still in demand today, it has not yet reached its peak of popularity, and over time, more and more such people will be needed.
  2. Roboticist. Production is being automated more and more, and the number of specialists able to control the operation of new mechanisms, create and improve them should also increase.
  3. Physicians of a narrow profile. In 5 years, the services of doctors who are rarely accessed now will become more in demand. For example, psychiatrists or gerontologists (who study the issues of slowing down aging) count on a good income.
  4. Marketer. The variety of companies offering almost identical products and services on the market is already large, but in the coming years the competition will only increase, so the demand for people who can distinguish the organization from the competition will increase.
  5. risk managers. Today there are few specialists of this profile, and in the future the need for them will only increase.

In addition, the work of an architect, designer, PR specialist, dentist analyst and other works described earlier will definitely not lose relevance.

Professions in demand at all times

At the beginning of the 20th century, telephone service was provided by trained telephone operators by connecting wires, and dentures were made by dental technicians. These types of work were very skilled and widespread, so people of that time did not imagine that soon such professionals would no longer be needed. However, technological progress has rendered the skills of such specialists useless. Nobody would like this situation to happen again with him, so many people choose a profession and with an eye on how relevant it will be in the future.

The work related to ensuring the basic needs of people and working with them will never lose their relevance. So, at all times people wanted to be healthy and beautiful, well-fed and cheerful. Professions related to providing these needs have existed since ancient times, but not all of them are highly paid. Consider highly paid professions that presumably will not lose relevance in the near future:

  1. Doctors. Due to the characteristics of the human body, the need for treatment is unlikely to ever disappear. It will not be possible to completely replace human diagnostics and treatment with technical methods, so the doctor will never be left without work. Today, the work of a doctor is not paid very high, but there are already quite good vacancies and in the near future the situation is expected to improve.
  2. Teachers. The need for learning and obtaining information about the world around us is not only for children, but also for adults. It is the people who are able to teach adults some highly specialized skill that generates income that claim the highest pay.
  3. Stylists, make-up artists and cosmetologists. Every person has the desire to look beautiful, but it is most pronounced in people with a high level of income, so it is easy for famous specialists in the beauty industry to find clients who are willing to pay money for their services.

Also in demand at all times are actors, chefs, engineers, psychologists, architects. But remember that not only the characteristics of the future profession are important, but also your abilities and interest in this industry. Only what you love brings success to a person.

The labor market, like many other markets, is transforming, following the development of technology and changes in various fields of activity. At the moment, the drivers of this transformation are, of course, nanotechnology, robotics, IT and engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, architecture, biotechnology, energy, genetics and medicine. Moreover, they will not develop independently, but complement each other. It is to changes in these areas that the labor market will respond immediately in the near future. The usual office and administrative staff will gradually give way to new professions. And this is a natural development for which we need to prepare now. Engage in training and development of their skills, monitor changes in their profession, adapting to new market trends.

These skills, according to our results, in relation to any of the professions of the future should be programming, modeling, computational thinking, critical thinking, creativity, people management, communication skills, customer focus, negotiation skills, cognitive thinking, multilevel problem solving skills. That is, in addition to technical skills, it will be necessary to have skills related to the work of the brain and the ability to communicate with people.

In the course of our study, we identified those promising professions and professions of the future, which, in our opinion, will become massive in the next 10 years. Our list includes:

  • Bioengineer- a specialist who studies and changes the properties of a living organism (as well as developing new ones) using engineering principles in biology and medicine to solve various medical problems and protect health.
  • - a specialist in the creation, implementation and planting of systems powered by solar and wind energy.
  • Smart environment designer- a specialist in creating technologies for rooms that respond to the actions of their users.
  • Robotics Specialist(including medical) - a specialist in the creation and maintenance of robots for various industries, as well as various automated technical systems.
  • - a specialist involved in supporting infrastructure / services and creating protective systems, responsible for the operability, improvement, modernization, security.
  • Alternative energy specialist- a specialist engaged in the search and use of alternative non-traditional energy sources.
  • Psychologist / neuropsychologist- a specialist whose work is at the intersection of psychology and neuroscience. He studies the connection between the structure and principles of the functioning of the brain with mental processes and human behavior.

  • 3D printing engineer- a specialist in three-dimensional design using mathematical and creative abilities.
  • Genetic engineering specialist- a specialist who studies and changes the properties of a living organism (as well as the development of new ones) at the level of their genes.
  • - A specialist in the creation of virtual reality.
  • - a specialist in designing solutions that allow you to "live" in virtual reality.
  • Biopharmacologist- Specialist in the creation of new biological products.

Of course, it is almost impossible to completely predict the professions of the future, and the existing applicants for getting into this list are single professions.

This list can be continued, fantasizing and inventing new professions, but it is the ones listed above that fit all the trends that are now observed in the world.

Many experts with whom we managed to talk also note the influence of the West on the formation of the Russian labor market. In their opinion, those professions that exist or are just emerging in America, with a high degree of probability, will be popular in Russia in 5-10 years.

Research Methodology

Various organizations and media have already published many different ratings and "lists of" professions of the future ". In order not to repeat ourselves and not to compile a similar list, we decided to give our expert assessment and validate candidate positions for getting into these ratings.

To do this, we analyzed 13 different lists and ratings dedicated to promising professions and professions of the future, published over the past three years (6 English-language and 7 Russian-language sources).

At the first stage, we conducted a content analysis, analyzing more than 750 professions that were mentioned in these lists. We removed duplicate positions, and then counted the number of mentions of each profession, thus obtaining a consolidated rating of the professions of the future.

From the final list of professions, in which about 350 items remained, 4 groups were conditionally distinguished based on the rating and expertise:

  • “Old-timer professions” (moderate demand for specialists, but deformation by 2020-2025 and disappearance in our usual form) - they accounted for 26% of existing professions.
  • "Demanded professions" (high demand now and for another 2-3 years, moderate demand will remain until 2025) - 30%.
  • "Promising professions" (high demand for them will appear in 2020-2023) - 25%.
  • "Professions of the future" (high demand will appear after 2024-2025) - 19%.

To the group "Old Professions" We got positions already familiar to us, such as designers, environmentalists, accountants, financiers, police officers, marketers, economists, cosmetologists, technicians, auditors, lawyers, nurses, nurses, etc.

Listed "Demanded professions" turned out to be information systems architects, business analysts, HR specialists, mobile application developers, engineers of various profiles, dentists, analysts, programmers, project managers, game developers, Big data specialists, testers, technicians, electricians, etc.

In a group "Perspective Professions" we identified 15 professions, and in the group "Professions of the Future"- 20 professions that most often met in the composite rating of professions and presented them for evaluation to the members of the HeadHunter League of HR Experts. As a result, 54 interviews were conducted (see Note), in which experts assessed how much they agree that the listed professions are on the lists, gave their arguments on this matter, and also offered their own options for “demanded professions” and “professions future."

In addition, we checked the same lists of professions that were submitted for assessment by experts against the database of vacancies and resumes from HeadHunter to see if there were any vacancies or resumes with similar titles in the last two years. Thus, we correlated expert assessments with the real situation on the Russian labor market.

Research results

In the “Promising Professions” and “Professions of the Future” groups, the leaders in terms of the number of mentions in existing lists and ratings were the following positions:

Promising professionsProfessions of the future
Urbanistvirtual reality architect
city farmerSpace tourism manager
Manager of crowdfunding and crowdinvesting platformsMedical Robotics Specialist
Bioengineerbioinformatician
Composite engineervirtual reality designer
Drone operatorCyber Security Specialist
Renewable Energy EngineerRobotics Specialist

To the first group for expert evaluation, we added 8 more positions, which also met in the ratings. It is a wearable energy designer, IT evangelist, smart environment designer, 3D ink developer, digital currency advisor, migrant onboarding specialist, 3D printing engineer and personal profile security consultant.

13 more professions were added to the second group: emotion designer, living systems architect, bioethicist, augmented reality engineer, microorganism designer, cyber investigator, neuropsychologist, alternative energy specialist, agroinformatician / agrocyberneticist, metal skin consultant, unmanned aircraft interface designer, intelligent travel systems and digital addiction treatment specialist.

According to the results of the interview It turned out that by no means all leading professions are assessed by experts as really promising professions or professions of the future.

Positively rated as really promising professions such as 3D printing engineer, bioengineer, renewable energy engineer, smart environment designer. More than 70% of experts noted that they agree that these are promising professions.

The experts who agreed with 3D Printing Engineer, Renewable Energy Engineer, Bioengineer, Smart Environment Designer on the list of professions commented:

  • Alla Gaidukova, Human Resources Manager at Prestige-Internet (Voronezh): “Because at present, 3D graphics, population movement and the use of electronic media and programs are gaining great development.”
  • Alla Koshelkova, Head of Recruitment Department, Reforming Center LLC (Tolyatti): “Some technologies are currently developing at a rapid pace, for example, 3D printing. Also, the need for specialists is dictated by the growth in electricity consumption.”
  • Irina Preobrazhenskaya, HR Director of a financial organization (St. Petersburg): “All professions are related to Digital. I believe this is our future." With the advent of the Digital era and, accordingly, with the demand for professions in this area, I also agree Alina Zlobina, Head of HR Department, ANM-group (Volgograd).
  • Veronika Eprikova, HR Director of OOO PO Aquamash (Volgograd): “Because some of these areas are actively developing and there is a high probability of their introduction into the main areas of life. Even if it takes a little longer."
  • Artem Smolyanoy, HR Director, IBS Platformix (Moscow): “It is already clear that these professions are present in the market in one form or another. They have not yet fully taken shape, but some issues that can be attributed to the professional areas I have noted are already being dealt with by specialists from related areas. He also noted that “medical specialists who will be involved in the implantation of various devices into the human body may be in demand. And not only medical devices, but also gadgets.”
  • Konstantin Kulikov, founder of the company "LLC "Kadrovy Portal"" (Volgograd region): "The noted professions are de facto present on the market now. Further development awaits.”
  • Sergei Novosad, Director of Human Resources at PJSC Razgulay Group (Moscow), simply noted that promising professions are beta analysts, robotics, psychotherapists, and IT specialists.
  • Natalya Samorukova, a recruitment specialist at TSK Avtomobilny (Barnaul), believes that all professions related to the IT environment will be in demand.
  • Anastasia Zheludkova(Moscow) believes that in 3-7 years virtual reality developers, bioengineers, nanorobot engineers will be in demand. About the same opinion Veronika Eprikova, HR Director of LLC PO Aquamash (Volgograd), adding that engineering and bioengineering professions will be in demand.

With perspective or the “future” of professions such as migrant adaptation specialist, wearable energy designer, urban farmer, urbanist, IT evangelist, our experts disagreed. Moreover, the IT evangelist and the city farmer look like the biggest outsiders here, because. every third expert interviewed noted that he did not agree with the presence of these positions in the category of promising ones.

The experts who disagreed consider the professions of an urbanist, urban farmer, IT evangelist to be promising, argue their position as follows:

  • Alla Gaidukova, HR manager at Prestige-Internet (Voronezh): “I don’t understand where such specialists would be useful.”
  • Alla Koshelkova, head of the recruitment department, Reforming Center LLC (Tolyatti): “The list included specialists related to individual needs, not mass ones. Most likely, they will not receive mass distribution.
  • Sergey Stepanov, HR Director of EDI-Sphere Company (Moscow): "It is not clear what these professions are (I have not met them yet)."

But to a personal profile security consultant, digital currency advisor, 3D ink developer and compositing engineer treated with caution. For example, 33% of experts noted that a digital currency adviser is still an incomprehensible position for them. 31% of those who rated the personal profile security consultant and the 3D ink developer in the same way.

To "professions of the future" almost all experts carried specialists in robotics, cybersecurity, alternative energy and psychologists, including neuropsychologists. They also believe in bioinformaticians, virtual reality designers and architects, and various planners.

The experts who agreed with the presence in the list of "professions of the future" specialists in robotics, cybersecurity, alternative energy, neuropsychologist, bioinformatics, commented on this as follows:

  • Alla Gaidukova, Human Resources Manager at Prestige-Internet (Voronezh): "I believe that specialists will be useful in the development of areas in the future - biotechnology, cybernetics."
  • Alla Koshelkova, head of the recruitment department, Reforming Center LLC (Togliatti): “Everything related to information development tends to give birth to new professions.”
  • Artem Smolyanoy, HR Director, IBS Platformix (Moscow): “It is obvious that today there are people who are involved in both cybersecurity and designing drones, etc. Yes, this has not yet been formalized into separate professions, and specialists from similar fields are dealing with these issues, but since the demand for such goods and services will obviously grow, registration into a separate profession is not far off.”
  • Elena Tolstykh, HR Director of Trio Group LLC (Lipetsk region): “I see the real development of technologies in this area and their application in Russia.”
  • Tatyana Mukhametshina, head of the HR department of the SL Clinic (Kazan): “I mainly noted the specialists of alternative reality. In my opinion, this direction will be actively developed”.

But the position of a space tourism manager, popular in many ratings, according to representatives of the HR industry, will not become the profession of the future. Half of the experts on the list do not agree with this profession. There are also doubts about emotion designers, bioethicists, microorganism designers. The remaining positions received a neutral assessment, i.e. their presence in the ranking of professions of the future has not been confirmed or refuted.

The experts who disagreed consider space tourism manager, emotion designer, metallic skin consultant as "professions of the future":

  • Alla Koshelkova, Head of the Recruitment Department, Reforming Center LLC (Togliatti): “Too narrow focus of specialists in areas that have not yet become widespread.”
  • Dmitry Bekhterev, founder of the company "Always Is!" (Nizhny Novgorod), simply said that "these professions are fantastic."
  • Elena Tolstykh, HR Director of Trio Group LLC (Lipetsk Region): “I believe that the professions I have noted will not be in demand in Russian companies due to the catastrophic lag in the development of Russian technologies and systems of organization (management) in business.”
  • Alexandra Yakovleva, Tranio Human Resources Manager: "There will be no mass space tourism in the next 15 years."

An analysis of the hh.ru database and the site for vacancies or resumes over the past 2 years showed that only 11 positions can boast of having at least 1 vacancy. At the same time, for some of those professions, whose prospects were not highly evaluated by experts, there were several resumes.

Data on their number are presented in the table below:

  • 4 highest paying jobs in 2020
  • What professions are the highest paid for people without higher education
  • The highest paid professions for the humanities
  • What are the highest paid professions in the world?
  • The highest paying professions of the future

Everyone dreams of having such a job in order to work less and get more at the same time - there is a fair amount of truth in this comic statement. In a world where everything costs money, the winner is the one who has more - and therefore even schoolchildren who have not yet really decided on their choice of profession are in no hurry to consider unfashionable and not very highly paid specialties. So who gets the highest salary in the labor market? We will talk about this now.

First of all, you need to decide which profession is considered highly paid. According to Rosstat, in 2019 the average salary in Russia was 42 595 ruble, but this figure fluctuated greatly depending on the region - for example, in the Volgograd (30,097), Ivanovo (26,053), Tver (30,764) regions, it is slightly lower.

Traditionally high salaries are in Moscow (79 thousand rubles for the same period), St. Petersburg (58,310), in the north of Russia (Magadan region, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Yakutia, etc.), as well as in megacities. But we will focus on the average for Russia and consider those professions where salaries are higher.

We will also make a reservation that “profession” and “position” are not quite the same thing. Of course, the highest salaries and bonuses are received by top managers and top managers, directors of banks and large enterprises. But this is a position to which not everyone can grow. Also, we do not take into account the income of businessmen in the rating, which can be very significant (and can be very modest and even negative). So,?

4 highest paying jobs in 2020

Here's what it looks likelist of highest paid jobs in our time:

  1. IT specialist. Over the past few years, this profession has been at the top of the list of the most demanded in Russia. These specialists are responsible for protecting information at various levels, working with databases, identifying potential ways to penetrate the server and ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment. At large enterprises, top-level IT specialists earn very decent money, which is quite logical: the level of their salaries is comparable to the level of responsibility.
  2. Auditor. These specialists monitor and analyze the financial performance of the company and the correctness of reporting, check it for violations, and also provide consulting services. Their salary starts from 100 thousand rubles, but it can be much higher. The auditor may be a full-time employee of the firm, or may work in an audit company that is involved in the audit by third parties.
  3. Collector. Nobody likes collectors, but from a financial point of view, the work of a person who “knocks out” debts and receives a percentage of each amount received is very profitable. True, this position is not suitable for everyone - at a minimum, collectors must have enviable stress resistance. Their income can be measured in tens or hundreds, and sometimes in millions of rubles - it all depends on financial results. Read article "How to cope with stress on day X".
  4. Bankruptcy agent. This is a very popular profession in our turbulent times. According to statistics, 14 companies become bankrupt every hour in Russia. In this regard, the profession of a bankruptcy bidding agent is becoming increasingly popular. Representatives of this specialty are disliked in the same way as collectors. It is believed that they almost take away the last property from people.But a bank or other financial institutions do not need cars, apartments and other property. Their goal is to get their money back. This can only be done through auctions. Here agents are indispensable.Agents are usually used by people who want to bid for bankruptcy but do not have the time, desire or experience to do so. Then they sign a contract with an agent. He advises the client on the lot, its condition, chooses a bidding strategy, helps to purchase property at a lower price.Even paying for the services of an agent, physical. or the legal entity wins, as it can purchase the lot it likes at 20-30% below the market value. As a certified bankruptcy bidding specialist, you can earn 100,000 - 200,000 rubles.

Other in-demand specialties include:

  • Market Analyst - conducts market analysis and gives advice on the implementation and promotion of products.
  • Business Consultant - helps the CEO build the right business model and get around the rough edges in the harsh world of entrepreneurship and free trade.
  • A logistics specialist responsible for delivering goods from point A to point B as quickly and cheaply as possible.
  • A marketer is a person who prepares and implements an advertising campaign.
  • HR specialist. Personnel is a key resource for any company, so competent HR is always valuable.
  • Risk manager and crisis manager - the one who can lead the company out of the deepest crisis.
  • Sales Manager. In a world where everyone is selling something, the profession of a sales manager will never lose its relevance.
  • Dentist. The only medical specialty that is officially considered highly profitable. Obstetricians-gynecologists, psychologists and surgeons are stepping on the heels of dentists.

If you want to learn some of these specialties, see the block at the end of the article.

The spread in salary levels can be quite significant, but, as a rule, the minimum rates for these positions are 40-50 thousand rubles, and then everything depends on the size and capabilities of the company, as well as on the skill level of the specialist.

TOP 5: for men

Despite all the achievements of emancipation, in some areas, men still earn more than the representatives of the beautiful half of humanity.

These harsh male professions have been and remain the domain of the strongest half of humanity.

The highest paid professions for women

Women hold strong positions in the following professions:

  • PR Specialist(as an option - a specialist in public relations). Most of these positions are held by women. For such work, it is important to be able to competently build relationships with partners and make a good impression.- just what the beautiful half of humanity does very well (of course, when they need it).
  • Internal communications specialist. This position involves building relationships in the team and monitoring compliance with the principles of corporate ethics, as well as maintaining employee loyalty to management and the company as a whole. The salary of such a specialist can be 100-300 thousand rubles.
  • Accountant. This profession has long been considered purely female. Exceptions do occur, but not that often. The chief accountant of a large company or enterprise is close in status to the general or financial director No wonder this position pays so well. But do not forget that the chief accountant, as a rule, is a materially responsible person, so he bears certain risks.
  • Lawyer. Unlike an accountant, this profession is not considered purely female, but still, representatives of the beautiful half of humanity have noticeably pressed men in the field of jurisprudence. But do not forget that 10-15 years ago the profession of a lawyer was considered very fashionable, and universities graduated huge number of specialists each year. Not all of them are well employed and work in their specialty - having a diploma is not enough, experience and qualifications are important. Only highly qualified lawyers receive good money (from 150,000 and above).
  • Master in Beauty(make-up artist, hairdresser, stylist, manicurist) - a purely female profession, and good craftsmen with established clientele are always worth their weight in gold- they can earn very decently, because women are not ready to save on their beauty.

In these areas, women occupy a leading position, and it is unlikely that men will be able to oust them from there in the near future.

What professions are the highest paidfor people without higher education

As you know, "learning is light, and ignorance - a little light - and to work." However, this statement can be disputed, because even among people who do not have the coveted certificate of graduation from the university, there are successful and very wealthy people. Moreover, sometimes former high school students who barely graduated from vocational schools hire former honors students and medalists. However, you should not take this as advice to “give up your studies” - this really happens, but this is not a rule, but rather an exception to the rules.

So, who can make money without having a diploma.

  1. Personal bodyguard/head of security. This is a fairly popular profession for men who have good physical training and are proficient in martial arts, as well as weapons. As a rule, their employers are very serious and wealthy people, so the reward for the person who ensures their safety is a very significant amount.
  2. Personal driver. This is a person who is trusted with a premium car, but also - involuntarily - access to serious information, for which many competitors are willing to pay serious money, because in this car a lot of important conversations are held in the presence of the driver. In addition, a personal driver must adapt to the often irregular rhythm of his employer's life. All this makes the profession of a personal driver so highly paid. To get to this position, it is not enough to drive a car well - they do not get here “from the street”, and all candidates undergo a thorough check and selection.
  3. Sportsman. Here it is necessary to make a reservation that most athletes still have a diploma - as a rule, they study in absentia, because they simply do not have time for full-time education. But strictly speaking, the diploma itself is not so necessary and important for a career - if you have the potential and real sporting achievements, you can earn very decent money by scoring goals or goals, and at the same time remaining a person without a higher education. But it is important to understand that only athletes of the top division have high earnings, amounting to hundreds of thousands (and even millions) of dollars a year.

There are other specialties for people without higher education, because back in the 2000s, a personnel crisis began in the market for working specialties. And it's no secret to anyone that a good plumber can earn more than an average office clerk. Here are some in-demand jobs.

  • builders;
  • masons;
  • electricians;
  • carpenters and plasterers
  • electric and gas welders;
  • repairmen.

To be noticed and hired exactly for one of these specialties

The highest paid professionsfor the humanities

It is believed that in the labor market, technical specialists are more likely to find high-paying jobs than humanities, but this is not always the case. These are the directions in which people who had a solid “deuce” in mathematics and other exact sciences at school can develop.

  • Brand manager. A person who helps turn a name or trademark into a recognizable brand. It is thanks to these people that we buy shampoos, shoes or sweets of a certain brand.
  • Politician. Oddly enough, there are more humanitarians among politicians, and this profession provides an excellent opportunity to earn money.
  • Diplomat- Anyone who can resolve any conflict at the negotiating table must have a humanitarian mindset.

Also in recent years, such a profession as a specialist in etiquette is gaining popularity.

This list may vary depending on the country in question. Top managers and company executives are in the TOP in any state, but the rest of the list positions may vary.

In America and in the West in general, in the list of demanded and highly paid professions, in addition to high-level managers, are doctors.

  • Psychiatrist;
  • Orthodontist;
  • dental prosthetist;

  • IT specialists;
  • Lawyers;
  • Accountants;
  • Marketers (pass Free 7-day course "Profession: Internet Marketer");

We live in a rapidly changing world - some professions are becoming a thing of the past, and new ones immediately appear in their place. The list of highly paid professions in 2020 differs significantly from the similar list of 2010, and even more so from the list of 2000. There is every reason to believe that in 5-10 years the situation will change again.

What professions are gaining popularity? Basically, these are professions in high-tech areas. Do not forget that our world has finally entered the digital era: for example, recently German Gref proposed to include in the program of technical universities the underlying smart contracts and . Not always schoolchildren at the age of 16-17 can make a conscious choice that will determine their entire future life - where to go to study. Often parents make the choice for them, which is also not entirely correct. If you are not sure which specialty to prefer, use the following tips.

  • write down on paper everything that you love and enjoy, and try to analyze this list. Try to understand: do you have a humanitarian or technical mindset? Do you want to lead or work under someone else's direction? Do you like to work alone or in a team? Do you like to communicate with people - or will you be comfortable sitting quietly all day somewhere in a corner, buried in a computer? Try to give as honest answers as possible. Focus on your desires, not on the opinions of parents or peers.
  • take a test that will help determine your strengths and weaknesses- after that you will also be able to get a list of professions suitable for you. This test can be taken both online and offline. In addition, some schools offer career guidance programs for middle and high school students.
  • read our articles and .

There is nothing shameful or terrible if you do not go to university in the very first year after school - for starters, you can try to work without a specialty. Perhaps this experience will give you an impetus and help you navigate the choice of your future profession.

If you have not found your current or future profession in the list of the highest paid - do not rush to get upset. Remember that you need to focus not only on the needs of the market, but also on your abilities, desires and dreams - this is the only way you can achieve a lot.

It is better to choose an ordinary profession, but become an extra-class professional, than, at the insistence of your parents, go to study as an accountant, “because this is a good profession that will always feed you” - and as a result, spend your whole life as a second-rate accountant in a third-rate company, quietly hating your job and counting the minutes to six.

remember, that real professionals get good money in any field- and to become a true professional, you need to do what you love!

What does it take to get a high paying job?

This list may be adjusted depending on which position you are applying for. And yet, we can highlight the main requirements for specialists who dream of occupying a highly paid position:

  • work experience in the industry 5-10 years;
  • good knowledge of foreign languages (at least English);
  • specialized education (large foreign universities are especially quoted);
  • passing MBA courses;
  • high stress resistance;
  • personnel management skills.

  • The labor market is constantly changing and it is difficult to say what professions will be the most in demand in Russia, for example, in 2020. One can only make assumptions based on analysis and research.

    It is especially difficult to make predictions about the so-called women's professions.

    About, what professions are in demand in the labor market now, different researchers give conflicting information.

    Basically, everyone today strives to become managers, lawyers, economists, specialists in international relations.

    These specialties are in demand on the labor market, but a huge number of specialists trained in these areas minimize the likelihood of getting a job without any problems, while employers have the opportunity to increase the qualification requirements for applicants.

    If you compose list of in-demand professions for women at the moment, taking into account the research of specialists and the state order for specialties, it will look something like this:

    - educators, teachers in secondary schools, schools. This is traditionally a women's patrimony in the labor market, but due to some transformations in the education industry, today there are not very many who want to go there to work. And wages in education leave much to be desired;

    - medical workers. In this industry, things are the same as in education. The shortage of nurses and junior service personnel is especially acute. The staff of clinicians has been reduced. Many specializations are in danger of disappearing due to the fact that soon there will be no one to work;

    — engineers. This applies to both men and women. Without a powerful engineering corps, technological and, consequently, technical development is impossible;

    - IT specialists. There is a catastrophic shortage of personnel. Most of the workers in this field are self-taught, or their qualifications leave much to be desired. The latter is due to the fact that the domestic education system is not adapted to the modern requirements of the IT-technologies sphere and does not keep up with its rapid development;

    - Specialists in the field of nanotechnology. The shortage of qualified personnel in this area is due to the fact that only a few educational institutions provide training. This direction is promising and is only gaining momentum;

    - Service workers. Here the list is huge, starting with the hairdresser, ending with realtors. The demand for professions is due to the active development of the service sector;

    - Specialists in the field of advertising and PR. This area of activity is ambiguous. It is not enough to have a diploma attesting to education here, it is necessary to have creative thinking; Not everyone will master this specialty. It is perfect for purposeful, creative women and girls;

    - marketers. The market today offers a huge number of products, for the successful promotion of which it is necessary to conduct research and make forecasts about what are the market prospects for a particular product. The shortage of specialists in this area is due to the fact that educational institutions have recently mastered this area and have not yet saturated the market with trained personnel;

    - ecologists. The popularity of the specialty was determined by global trends aimed at minimizing the negative impact on the ecological system of our planet;

    — psychologists, incl. family. This fashion trend came to us from the West and today is steadily gaining popularity in the post-Soviet space.

    This is perhaps the most demanded professions in the labor market in Russia for the female half of the population. The following list answers the question: “What professions are in demand in Russia?” generally throughout the country. If we consider the situation in specific regions, it will change.

    Demanded working professions in most regions of Russia, as a rule, they refer to workers in warehouses, motor transport enterprises, car services and construction sites. And their popularity is almost equal. It is easier to get a job as a storekeeper or a loader, but do not forget that their wages are much lower than those of builders, drivers and auto mechanics, and there are practically no prospects for growth.

    In order to become a specialist in the field of construction, you need to get a specialized education and constantly monitor the latest in the profession market. Sometimes a professional team of narrow-profile builders earns no less than successful businessmen and, due to their fame, dictates the price of their work, which attracts larger customers, and this is already a significant plus in choosing such a profession.

    Unfortunately, such a thing as a professional loader or storekeeper is absurd, although warehouse managers can make good money.

    Getting one or another profession is the personal choice of each person, and such a choice should be taken carefully. If you are a representative of a working profession in demand on the labor market, then a certain work experience is very important. Since the market is oversaturated with vacancies for working professions, you can choose more suitable working conditions for yourself.

    What professions will be in demand in 5 years?

    It is difficult to make any forecasts on such a question, since the modern labor market is very flexible and dynamic, and directly depends on the macroeconomic situation and the direction of technology development. But, on the other hand, it is rather static, since the reorganization of the areas of vocational training in educational institutions takes quite a lot of time.

    Today, all trends point to the fact that professions in demand for the female half of the population in 5 years will remain the same as above. First place will be:

    • engineers;
    • specialists in the field of advertising and PR;
    • service workers;
    • builders.

    The last specialty will be almost 100 percent in high demand in a few years, especially in Russia. This is due to the fact that the demographic situation, although at a slow pace, is beginning to improve.

    The increase in population necessitates the construction of housing. In addition, the outdated housing stock requires at least partial renovation.

    The demand for construction specialties will increase the development of businesses that need commercial facilities: business centers, warehouses, retail space, industrial premises.

    But in the first place will still be professions related to intellectual labor. This situation is natural, since Russia is gradually moving from the industrial to the information stage of development.

    One of the most demanded will be specialties related to service industry. These professions can be called eternal: services are needed by everyone and always.

    Answering the question: What professions will be in demand in 2020?, it is necessary to list those specialties that will remain, as they say, out of work. In this case, it is easier to make predictions. It is enough to list the professions in which educational institutions have already provided the market for many years and continue to produce specialists in these areas:

    • lawyers;
    • economists;
    • managers;
    • administrative staff, office workers.

    To the question, “Why will office workers not be in demand, because the business is developing, and, accordingly, the need for such personnel is increasing?” you can answer that they will play a cruel joke with him new technologies, which will maximize the optimization of the work of organizations and reduce the use of human resources by employers.

    Also under the threat of extinction, according to experts, was journalism in the classical sense of the field. This is especially true for the print media, they have already lost their relevance in terms of the source of information.

    The same fate awaits radio, which is rebuilt in an entertaining way, leaving the information function as short news blocks.

    The only source of information that is in demand equally with the Internet remains TV.

    To upload information to the network, you do not need to have a diploma in journalism, and this is still a zone without censorship, which brings the Internet to a leading position.

    Thus, when choosing the direction of training, the future specialty, it is necessary to take into account current trends, get acquainted with research and independently analyze the information received.

    What profession is the most demanded and highly paid?

    For Russia, the answer to this question is ambiguous, because the demand for a profession and wages are different concepts in our country, unlike Western countries. For example, The most demanded professions are engineering and teaching. but they are among the lowest paid.

    At the same time, workers oil and gas industry and top managers receive high wages, but are not so in demand.

    That's why the most demanded and highly paid professions in Russia almost impossible to define clearly.

    In such cases, it is necessary to resort to the help of mathematics, namely, to derive the arithmetic mean. As a result, it turns out that this is a profession IT specialist, programmer.

    This is in line with the general global trends, since the development of technology requires the development of software, its modernization and maintenance. This trend can also be seen as the most promising.

    What are the most in-demand professions in the world?

    The word "world" here refers to the most advanced labor markets: Europe, USA. This is due to the fact that you can get a clear concrete answer to this question, since labor markets are subject to systematic research and the list of demanded specialties is quite clear.

    It is quite difficult to monitor the African labor market. It can be assumed that everything will depend on the degree of economic development of the country.

    What does it look like list of leading professions for Europe and the USA:

    • financial expert;
    • pharmacist;
    • software security specialist;
    • specialists in the field of advertising and PR-technologies;
    • IT specialists;
    • managers in the field of tourism and hotel business;
    • mathematics teachers;
    • managers, office administrative staff.

    List of in-demand professions in Western countries can be considered very conditionally global. On other continents, it may be completely different. But in the above lists, one can find similarities in terms of the demand for specialties related to technology development, PR and advertising. These directions can be called promising on a global scale. These are professions that will be in demand in the future.

    This situation shows that Russia is a full-fledged participant in world economic and scientific processes.

    Exotic professions in demand in Russia.

    These include:

    1. Boogie-woogie coach;
    2. Sports shoe tester;
    3. Floating drilling rig captain;
    4. Cattle slaughterer;
    5. Carcass specialist.

    All these vacancies are quite real, employers offer job seekers a decent salary and a full social package. Considering that there are no training courses in educational institutions for most specialties, the main requirement is that candidates have higher education.

    It should be noted that foreign companies are trendsetters for exotic specialties, not counting the last 3 items on the list.

    Although they cannot be called truly in demand, since offers from employers are of a single nature.

    Given the active integration of the Russian Federation into global processes, we can expect that by 2020 the list of official professions will be replenished with new names that are still unknown today.

    Comments

      Weird? In the presence of millions of different employees in the accounting system in education of all profiles in all professions, various ministries in the state, there is no state order for secondary and higher educational institutions in the training of professional specialists. It turns out a strange system in which millions of citizens receive certain professions, but actually work in completely different industries. Years of a short life are wasted because of imperfect public administration. In fact, we have in public administration managers with diplomas of the USSR, in fact without knowledge of economics and politics of managing a new state system in an eternal experiment.
      I worked in the system of general and vocational secondary education for 37 years, also as an inspector of the city administration. I affirm: the system of general and vocational education does not provide individuals with knowledge of combining personal capabilities and the needs of the state in obtaining a profession and the labor market. In the state, labor resources do not have accounting and orders. In fact: the state does not dispose of labor resources, there is no need? In the system of education and science, an order is required for the training of professionals from the state and the availability of an order from all employers, with qualification requirements. Without taking into account the labor resources of the professional requirements for the system of vocational education, the development of the state is impossible. Because the education of citizens is the basis of all science, industry, agriculture, everything and everyone in the state of the future, created today.
      The government is not educated, from educated modern management specialists, in fact, many of them are random people.

      “The labor market is constantly changing and it is difficult to say which professions will be the most in demand in Russia, for example, in 2020. One can only make assumptions based on analysis and research.”
      It is not at all difficult to say, because there are no such specialists in analysis and research in the scientific community. How many builders have been trained in the state since 1992, which professionals, teachers, which professionals, and all other professions How many work in professions acquired in the education system, how many work according to the resources of compliance and non-compliance with education. In this analysis, we get the result. Education in the Russian Federation rides on a cart, in the requirements of the release of all categories of goods of modern production. With such an education, the Russian Federation will forever buy more than sell. covering the deficit by selling natural resources. Where are the Russian household appliances and machines of the entire production complex! Where are the production of medical equipment and medicines. Where is the Russian industrial equipment and production? You can continue indefinitely. Where is modern teaching equipment in the education system? There is a school near my house, at school there is an electronic large screen with control panels for the educational process in the presence of electronic textbooks.
      In the Russian Federation today, paper textbooks are the basis, paper training in the requirements of various OGE and EGE. Again, the same requirements for everything and everyone. Until now, the system has been working according to a single plan for the selection of knowledge in all subjects for certificates. Forgot that the inventor of the Internet did not finish high school and university. Education in the Russian Federation does not determine the personality to vocational education according to the capabilities of the personality of the individual intellect. A person can be the greatest scientist without having knowledge of the general subjects of the certificate of requirements.

      The labor market does not change by itself, the labor market changes according to the requirements of production, science, all business sectors.
      Each ministry, production, all industries, agriculture and so on has its own labor market. If the ministries and the Government do not know the resources of the needs of the labor market, then there is nothing to dream about, there is no development, which is happening in reality.

    The highest paid professions for girls

    There is a stereotype that it is more difficult for girls to find a job with a high salary. Let's break this stereotype. Here is a list of high-paying professions in which women can reach their potential and earn as much or even more than men:

    1. Advertising manager. It cannot be said that this profession is primordially female, however, girls in it are found more and more often. Now there is huge competition in the labor market among managers of this kind, however, if a woman manages to get a job in a good company for this position, she will be able to earn up to 100 thousand rubles a month!
    2. Beauty industry worker. It is difficult to come up with a more feminine field of activity than this. In this area, a girl can not only earn money, but also show her talent. The range of professions in this area is huge. These are manicurists, depilators, stylists, make-up artists, hairdressers, etc. There are simply no boundary frames for salaries in this area, it all depends on the workload of the master and on his level. Popular masters with a high level of workload can earn up to 150 thousand rubles. In addition, over time, a girl can open her own salon or hairdresser, and then her income will increase significantly.
    3. Tourism manager. This is a real dream job for those who love to travel. Managers start with small salaries, but top managers in this area can receive up to 10 thousand dollars a month. Bonus - regular travel around the world.
    4. Photographer. Everything is simple here: if you have talent, you can achieve unprecedented heights, especially in big cities.

    The highest paid professions for men

    It is quite easy for men to develop professionally, almost all the most popular and highly paid professions in Russia are suitable for them. Separately, one can single out only construction industry, as it has always been considered primordially masculine. In this area, you can make good money, and specialists with experience and knowledge in construction are always needed.

    Most valued in the construction industry architects and engineers. Huge malls, high-rise office buildings, residential complexes - all this requires a constant flow of specialists. In the construction industry, not only a special male mindset is valued, but also physical strength.

    Besides, SMM specialists are also increasingly men.

    A few years ago, no one knew about this specialty, but now it is not only well paid, but also very much in demand. Employers need people who are "on you" with the Internet. They are engaged in the promotion of websites, business pages on social networks and other related tasks. These tasks are more often entrusted to men, as they are more open to experiments and easier to find a common language with modern technologies.

    Demanded and highly paid working specialties

    Often people wonder - is it possible to earn good money without higher education? Some are very skeptical about this issue, but in fact, it’s real to make money even without a column on the presence of a / about in the resume. In this case, the highest paid professions in Russia in the labor sphere come to the rescue.

    Here are 10 jobs that will help you make really good money:

    • drivers;
    • installers;
    • electricians;
    • carpenters;
    • plasterers;
    • electric and gas welders;
    • concrete workers;
    • repairmen;
    • masons;
    • fitters.

    The advantage of such specialties is that they are always in demand. A person with one of these professions can work for a large or small firm, or he can simply work for himself or even “forge” his own team of the same specialists as he is.

    Of course, you won’t be able to get much at once at such a job. You need to gain experience, as workers with good experience are most valued, who can complete any task, regardless of the level of its complexity.

    TOP-3 highly paid professions for the humanities

    Another popular myth is that it is impossible to make decent money if you are not technically minded. Of course, not everyone can be engineers or programmers. However, even if your mindset is 100% humanitarian, you will be able to receive a decent salary.

    There are a lot of good humanitarian specialties. Let's look at 3 of the most interesting and well-paid.

    1. Brand manager. It is this person who makes sure that you always buy a strictly defined brand of cream, know the advertising of a particular product by heart and spend money on the products of a particular company. Such specialists are needed by different enterprises. At the same time, in order to make good money and be in demand as a brand manager, you need to have a creative streak.
    2. etiquette specialist. This is a relatively new profession in Russia, or rather, an old one, which was recently remembered again. Now the success of a business largely depends on the behavior of the businessman himself, so people who really know a lot about the rules of etiquette are in price.
