Story

In the vicinity of the railway station of Chelyabinsk, there was a Nikolaevsky village, built up with low-rise private houses. In 1965, a new building of the railway station was built, the Station Square was significantly expanded in the south-west direction. On the south side, the area was limited to the entire width by the vocational school building. Previously, a store for agricultural products was located on the site of Sinegorye. During the Second World War, one of the workshops of the Krasny Proletarian plant evacuated from Moscow was deployed in it. In August 1945, vocational school No. 19 of the Ministry of Labor Reserves was opened on this site (since 1962 - GPTU No. 5, now - GBOU SPO "Chelyabinsk Mechanical and Technological College"). In the 1980s, the building occupied by the State Technical University was demolished and the Elizbar market was equipped in its place. In the 1990s, it was decided to build a shopping complex with a bus station in its place (Previously, the Southern Bus Station was located on the first floor of the northern wing of the railway station building). Bus station "TK" Sinegorye ""

The final version of the building on the Railway Station Square implied a combination of a shopping complex and a bus station. In 2003, the Yuzhny bus station was moved to Sinegorye after its construction and the reconstruction of the railway station building (1999-2005), where it was previously located.

On July 21, 2011, the Yuzhny bus station was moved from the Sinegorye shopping center to the newly created bus station in the Yunost DC, where the Severny bus station, which was previously located near the Trade Center, was also moved.
